Taylor Swift is the biggest musical act in history.

No one sold more concert tickets than Swift for her “Eras” tour.

And Taylor Swift was left speechless by this reaction to her major announcement.

Kamala Harris and the rest of the Democrat Party thought they scored a coup when Taylor Swift endorsed Kamala right after the September 10 debate with Donald Trump.

“I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them,” Swift’s endorsement announcement began.

Swift revealed she was voting for Kamala because Kamala supported abortion-on-demand and transgenderism.

“I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos. I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades,” Swift added.

But the Swift endorsement proved to be a massive error.

Swift didn’t speak to any of these issues voters actually cared about – inflation and illegal immigration – and instead framed her support for Kamala Harris as the general leading the woke Left into the culture war.

It was a decidedly off key message that ultimately did more harm than good.

Voters rejected the Democrats’ claim that the only issues that mattered were abortion and other social issues.

Prices shot up 20 percent and 10,00,000 illegal aliens crossed the border on Kamala Harris’ watch.

Taylor Swift never talked about any of these issues.

This was because there wasn’t anything positive to say about Kamala Harris’ record on the border and inflation.

Americans noticed.

“Just 39% of Democrats approve of celebrities piping up on political issues — but only 11% of Republicans and 12% of independents (24% for the whole sample),” Axios reported.

Sports figures backing politicians didn’t fare much better.

“Same with pro athletes: 39% of Democrats approve of them speaking up — but just 16% of Republicans and 15% of independents (26% overall),” Axios also reported.

Americans did value one group’s endorsement.

And that was entrepreneurs.

“Small business is a big exception: 43% of people are happy to hear from entrepreneurs. That breaks down to 49% of Dems, 41% of Republicans and 33% of independents,” Axios’ report continued.

Elon Musk’s endorsement of Donald Trump was one of the most important of the election.

Business owners like Musk were more likely to make their endorsement decisions based on the economy and illegal immigration.

Voters were more receptive to these endorsements because they met voters where they were at instead of focusing on distraction issues.
