Pete Hegseth’s confirmation hearing for Secretary of Defense was the talk of the town.

The Democrat Senators questioning Hegseth had no idea what hit them.

And Scott Jennings used four words to describe what Pete Hegseth did to Democrats.

Scott Jennings mocks Democrats for their unhinged performance

Pete Hegseth walked into his confirmation hearing with the left-wing media smelling blood in the water.

The media ran two months of smear stories about Hegseth being a Chrisitan nationalist, a drunk, and a sexual predator.

All of these lies were based on debunked allegations.

Hegseth walked into the hearing room and wowed Republicans with his forceful testimony about exiling woke ideology from the U.S. military.

Hegseth also shut down the Democrats attempts to launder these smear stories from the press into the confirmation hearing by attacking Hegseth over drinking, his divorces, his performance leading two nonprofits, and a false allegation of sexual assault.

Prior to Hegseth’s hearing, National Review’s John Fund posted on social media that Hegseth’s nomination was dead on arrival, as warmonger RINOs wanted to tank Hegseth because he supported Trump’s America first foreign policy.

“Pete Hegseth Is a Walking Dead Nominee. Up to a dozen GOP Senators may have good reasons to vote against him,” Fund wrote on social media.

Any chance of Senate RINOs tanking Hegseth’s bid to run the Defense Department ended with the hearing.

CNN commentator Scott Jennings lauded Hegseth’s performance.

“Well, in short, I think Pete Hegseth kicked their asses today. I mean, it wasn’t even close. They didn’t lay a glove on Hegseth. No mistakes. Calm, cool, collected,” Jennings stated.

Jennings said the Left beclowned themselves right from the get go, as a Code Pink freak show attempted to disrupt the proceeding with a protest.

“I mean, before the thing even started, you had this like, Code Pink, you know, protest or freak show, trying to disrupt the hearing. That’s the Democratic base, by the way, which probably explains why the Democrats on the committee acted in such a bizarre and unprofessional way,” Jennings continued.

Jennings ripped Democrats like Virginia Senator Tim Kaine, who made a fool of himself by sounding like a “sex pervert” for his questions about Hegseth’s marriages that ended in divorce.

“I was appalled at some of the ways these senators handled themselves and some of the lines of questioning. I mean, Tim Kaine sounded like a sex pervert in his questioning of Pete Hegseth. [Richard] Blumenthal, who lied about his service in Vietnam, questioning Hegseth’s qualifications. You had [Kirsten] Gillibrand, you had [Elizabeth] Warren, you had [Mazie] Hirono going on unhinged rants about things. Angus King obviously doesn’t understand what it’s like to fight terrorism, on and on and on,” Jennings continued.

Jennings stated that any Republican thinking about voting against Hegseth better think twice, and that Democrats ended up doing more to get Hegseth confirmed than any lobbying campaign by Trump’s conservative supporters.

Hegseth was cool in the face of this unhinged questioning. They made him look good today. It would be difficult for a Republican to vote against Hegseth after the Democrats’ unseemly mudslinging today.
