One jaw-dropping new poll left Kamala Harris wondering where it all went wrong
The polling data in the home stretch of the election tells each campaign where they stand.
Democrats got some bad news.
And one jaw-dropping new poll left Kamala Harris wondering where it all went wrong.
A new poll showed Trump leading Kamala Harris with Muslim voters
In 2020, President Joe Biden won an estimated 69 percent of Muslim voters.
That number proved critical in Michigan where there are 300,000 Arab residents and he won the state by about 154,000 votes.
But there is a revolt against the Biden-Harris administration from Muslim voters upset over their handling of the war in Gaza.
An Arab American Institute found former President Donald Trump leading Vice President Kamala Harris with Arab voters 46 to 42 percent.
Arab voters also preferred Republicans keep control of Congress by a 46 to 43 percent margin.
These poll results stunned the authors of the study.
In a report about the poll’s results, the Arab American Institute claimed Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’ refusal to push the pro-Hamas line of forcing Israel to surrender following the October 7 terrorist attack led to both depressed enthusiasm and the desire to cast a protest vote for Trump.
“Since we first began polling Arab Americans 30 years ago, the community has consistently favored the Democratic Party, with the margin of that support holding steady at nearly two to one for the past decade and a half. The Biden Administration’s handling of the crisis in Gaza, however, has eroded that support resulting in Arab Americans now evenly divided between the two parties – 38% for each,” the report read.
The Arab American Institute wrote that Trump is the “beneficiary of the community’s anger and despair over the Biden Administration’s failure to prevent the unfolding genocide in Gaza.”
And the Arab American Institute sounded positively despondent about the results of their own survey.
“In our thirty years of polling Arab American voters, we have not witnessed anything like the role that the war on Gaza is having on voter behavior,” the Arab American Institute’s report continued.
The real world consequences of this rebellion
Amer Ghalib mayor of Hamtramck, Michigan endorsed Donald Trump.
The town gave 81 percent of its vote to Joe Biden in 2020.
Yet Ghalib told reporters that no one batted an eye when he told them he endorsed Trump because Arab voters are furious at Biden and Kamala for not doing enough to force Israel to surrender.
“We asked multiple times that they should change course, but nothing happened,” Ghalib declared. “Kamala Harris is still going in the same path and nothing was addressed.”
Leftists are motivated by ideology and advancing their political project.
The pro-Hamas wing of the Democrat Party feels they are ascendent and that if they stay home on Election Day or cast protest votes for Trump and Kamala loses, the message to the Democrat Party to adopt a harsher posture towards Israel will sink in.
There is also polling evidence to show this mutiny by Arab voters is having its intended effect.
Mitchell Research – a well-respected instate pollster – just dropped a new survey showing Donald Trump narrowly leading Kamala Harris in Michigan.
