The church long ago decided to “change with times” and adapt itself to leftwing cultural.
Women became priests and suddenly the church began supporting causes like abortion and the homosexual agenda.
Unsurprisingly, the number of Christians who identified as Episcopalian declined by an average of around 40,000 per year according to Graphs About Religion.
Donald Trump and J.D. Vance attended a prayer service at the National Cathedral where woke Episcopalian Bishop Mariann Budde showed why Episcopalianism is a declining denomination.
Budde ranted in Trump and Vance’s face that children seeking transgender surgeries now feared for their lives.
“Let me make one final plea, Mr. President. Millions have put their trust in you and, as you told the nation yesterday, you have felt the providential hand of a loving God. In the name of our God, I ask you to have mercy upon the people in our country who are scared now. There are gay, lesbian and transgender children in Democratic, Republican, and Independent families, some who fear for their lives,” Budde exclaimed.
Supporting homosexuality and transgenderism runs counter to Christianity.
But Budde isn’t a Bishop so much as a political activist wearing a costume she thinks will confer spiritual authority on her deranged beliefs.
Greg Gutfeld made this point on The Five when he described her perversion Christianity as Satanic.
Gutfeld slammed Budde as the worst kind of fraud in that she exploited the idea that she was Bishop to push the “terrible” idea that doctors can mutilate children’s bodies in the name of gender identity insanity.
“Who knew Satan wore granny glasses and stole his haircut from John Denver? Just because you are spiritual…doesn’t make you smart, holy, or even good… Satan isn’t going to show up in red tights holding a pitchfork. It’s going to show up like that. [Budde’s] an impostor. She exploits compassion for terrible, terrible beliefs,” Gutfeld stated.

In Donad Trump’s first term Budde would have emerged as a cultural icon.
Celebrities would have lauded Budde on social media and Budde would appear on every morning network program.
Budde did make the rounds on CNN and The View.
But the broader culture ignored Budde.
That’s because Donald Trump’s most effective ad in the 2024 election was attacking Kamala Harris for supporting taxpayer funded transgender surgeries for prisoners.
A New York Times poll showed 71 percent opposed chemically castrating children.
Pop culture took a pass on Budde not wanting to align themselves with toxically unpopular transgender ideology.
