Trump says this election is the battle between a fake versus a fighter
At a rally in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, former President Donald Trump reframed the race now that Vice President Kamala Harris was his opponent.
When President Joe Biden was in the race, Trump cast the election as a contest between strength and weakness.
Now that Democrats staged a coup to replace Biden with Harris, Trump recalibrated his message.
Now Trump says the American people face a new choice.
“The contrast could not be more stark,” Trump declared.
The battle was between a ‘fighter’ and a “fake” and Trump recreated his iconic fist pump following the failed assassination attempt and shouted “fight” repeatedly as he did on the rally stage in Butler, Pennsylvania as blood poured down the side of his face.
“On the one hand, you have a radical Left puppet candidate who is fake, fake, fake. And, on the other hand, you have a President who will fight, fight, fight for America,” Trump declared.
Kamala Harris is trying to reinvent herself as an entirely new public figure after running for President in 2020 as more radical than U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT).
In the last week, Harris’ campaign – and not Harris herself – have renounced past support for mandatory gun buybacks, banning private health insurance, allowing terrorists and murderers to vote, banning fracking, and the Green New Deal.
She took no questions to explain these policy reversals.
Republicans argue Harris was either lying then or she’s lying now.
But given the fact that Harris earned the dubious honor of being the most left-wing member of the United States Senate, conservatives believe she’s lying now.
J.D. Vance makes the case
At a rally in Nevada, U.S. Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) pressed the case that Harris was a dangerous leftist trying to masquerade as something she’s not.
“Let’s just talk about the contrast between not just these two visions, but four years of Kamala Harris’s governance and four years of Donald Trump’s,” Vance stated.
“Kamala Harris’s vision is open American borders and closed American factories,” Vance continued.
“Kamala Harris would be the most anti-American energy president that we have ever had,” Vance added.
Vance compared Harris’ failed record to the successes achieved under Donald Trump.
“President Trump, by contrast, built the strongest economy in history, and the formula was pure common sense,” Vance continued.
“He delivered a giant tax cut for hardworking families, and we’re going to make it permanent,” Vance concluded.
The media is racing to define Kamala Harris as a historic figure who floats above normal politics.
Donald Trump’s job is to etch in the minds of voters that she’s really a radical leftist far outside the political mainstream.
