Democrats don’t currently control any branches of government.

But that doesn’t mean they can’t cause problems.

And Chuck Schumer gave one order that is bad news for Donald Trump.

Republicans control the White House and the United States Senate.

Confirming Donald Trump’s nominees should be a cake walk.

But Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer has plans to throw sand in the gears and slow down the ability of the majority to confirm Donald Trump’s cabinet nominees.

That means lying about them in the press – knowing the Democrat Party lackeys in the media will play along – as well as creating theatrical moments in confirmation hearings to drive news coverage.

“Schumer told members during the closed-door lunch that they should hold Trump’s nominees “accountable” for his agenda, particularly as it relates to the working class and families, the official said. That will include using the public hearings to get them to detail how the nominees will enact Trump’s campaign promises, the person added, as well as digging into their backgrounds,” POLITICO exclusively reported.

Elizabeth Warren immediately took Schumer up on the offer.

Warren made her mission to smear Pete Hegseth, Trump’s nominee to run the Defense Department.

Trump picked Hegseth because Hegseth shares Trump’s goal of cleaning transgenderism, preferred pronouns, and other gender and critical race theory insanity from the U.S. military.

Hegseth also wants to fire the woke generals that compromised U.S. military readiness and planned the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Warren – and other Democrat’s objections to Hegseth – centered on a false accusation Hegseth faced of sexual assault as well as false allegations of mismanagement at a veterans’ nonprofit Hegseth ran as well as showing up drunk to work at Fox News.

Democrats pinned their hopes on the FBI’s background check turning up dirt confirming hit pieces that appeared in the media attacking Hegseth using anonymous sources.

But when the background check report came back, Warren only increased her whining claiming that the report was “incomplete.”

“Sen. Elizabeth Warren suggested to me that Hegseth’s FBI background check was “incomplete” and only covered a “modest” part of his background, after a huddle with top Dems,” Axios Stephen Neukam reported.

And why was Warren complaining that Hegseth’s background check was “incomplete?”

Because it was “unremarkable” and didn’t contain any of the evidence Democrats hoped would confirm the allegations against Hegseth and sink his nomination.

Hegseth isn’t the only Trump nominee Democrats hope to sink by sliming them with lies.

Tulsi Gabbard – Trump’s pick to serve as Director of National Intelligence – is facing a smear campaign about being a Russian asset because she opposes war with Russia over Syria and Ukraine.

Gabbard is a Lt. Colonel in the United States military, which means she maintains a security clearance that is regularly reviewed by the FBI.

Trump’s selection for Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., is running up against lies that he is an “anti-vaxxer.”

And FBI Director nominee Kash Patel is fighting back falsehoods that he will weaponize the bureau against Trump’s political opponents.

Hegseth, Gabbard, Kennedy, and Patel all have one thing in common.

They are all change agents who will help Trump drain the Swamp.

That’s why Democrats are training their fire on these four.
