Peter Doocy is one of the few real reporters in Washington.

He is a thorn in the side of Kamala Harris.

And Peter Doocy noticed one weird thing at a Kamala Harris rally.

Kamala Harris walks a tightrope

Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy traveled with Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign to an event in North Carolina.

This stop was part of her battleground blitz coming out of the debate.

During a report with Fox News host Neil Cavuto, Doocy described what stood out to him at the rally.

And it was the slogan.

Kamala Harris’ campaign is trying to portray the sitting Vice President as an anti-establishment insurgent.

To that end, Kamala Harris’ handlers adopted a new slogan of “A New Way Forward.”

Doocy described the inherent contradiction of a Vice President claiming to represent a new way forward when he told Cavuto that at any mention of Trump, the crowd would chant “we’re not going back!”

That slogan and chant didn’t make sense to Cavuto.

“If things are so good now, then why does the new banner at the Harris rally say a new way forward?” Doocy asked.

Doocy continued that if Kamala Harris already delivered good times to America in the first four years America wouldn’t need a “new way forward.”

“It would stand to reason that if the status quo was something that could win an election you wouldn’t need a new way forward. It would just be ‘forward,’” Doocy concluded.

Kamala Harris can’t say if Americans are better off than they were four years ago

The confusion over Kamala’s campaign was a spillover from the debate where she couldn’t answer a simple yes or no question of whether Americans were better off than they were four years ago.

She couldn’t say no because that meant she admitted she was a failure right off the bat.

And she couldn’t say yes because that would put her in President Joe Biden territory where Americans dismissed him as senile for saying Bidenomics was working.

Instead, Kamala launched into one of her word salads.

“So, I was raised as a middle-class kid. And I am actually the only person on this stage who has a plan that is about lifting up the middle class and working people of America,” Kamala began.

“I believe in the ambition, the aspirations, the dreams of the American people. And that is why I imagine and have actually a plan to build what I call an opportunity economy,” Kamala continued.

Americans grew frustrated by Kamala’s refusal to answer questions.

That’s why a poll from Michigan taken by Mitchell showed former President Donald Trump and her tied at 48 percent.

But what stood out about the poll was the fact that 5 percent of voters flipped from Kamala to Trump compared to 3 percent who went from Trump to Biden in the 2020 Election.

And that can only be owed to the fact that Kamala Harris can’t settle on a message voters can understand.
