Bill Clinton is trying to help Democrats come to grips with losing another election to Donald Trump.

But Clinton took everyone by surprise with his disturbing wish.

And Bill Clinton revealed what he hopes happens on Donald Trump’s death bed.

Clinton hopes for Trump deathbed conversion

CBS late night host Stephen Colbert still can’t grasp the Supreme Court ruling that Presidents are immune from criminal prosecution for official acts in office.

That ruling drove a stake through the heart of the lawfare Democrats counted on to sink Trump’s Presidential campaign.

Democrats were especially counting on Jack Smith’s January 6 witch hunt delivering a guilty verdict since Trump stood no chance of getting a fair trial in Washington, D.C.

The immunity ruling ended those hopes.

Colbert was still grousing about the immunity ruling in a post-election interview with former President Bill Clinton.

“The Supreme Court, since you left, has said that the president enjoys broad immunity for his actions. If you had known that when you were in office, is there anything you would have changed?” Colbert asked.

Clinton and fellow leftists couldn’t see the forest for the trees on this ruling and said the court should overturn it.

“Let me just say that opinion, in my opinion, should be repealed or drastically confined,” Clinton added.

Bill Clinton showed he didn’t get that the court didn’t hand down this ruling just for Donald Trump with his next comment where he claimed the Supreme Court would throw out their own precedent when the next President took office.

“And if you want it changed, you probably just have to elect somebody else in the next election and the Supreme Court will change it so fast it’ll make your head swing,” Clinton continued.

The court issued the ruling to protect the next President.

If you could jail Presidents for decisions made in office, the next Republican President would indict Barack Obama on capital murder charges for a drone strike that killed an American citizen.

“I’m pretty sure that if something really grievous happened, the Supreme Court would make a different distinction, otherwise our Constitution has essentially been suspended and we wouldn’t have the rule of law,” Clinton claimed.

Bill Clinton then claimed that he would hold out hope that on his death bed, Trump would see the error of his way and call for the Supreme Court to overturn the Presidential immunity ruling.

“You know, I was raised in the Baptist church, and I believe in deathbed conversions, so I still think, you know, President Trump could be like Paul on the road to Tarsus [sic]. And think how wonderful that would be,” Clinton declared.

In case anyone is wondering if the Left will return to the land of reality following the 2024 election, this conversation should provide a pretty big hint the Democrat Party remains in a state of denial.
