On Joe Biden’s first day in office, he halted construction of the border wall.
That was step one in Biden’s politically disastrous decision to open the border to 10,000,000 illegal aliens.
Biden halting the border wall sent an unmistakable signal to illegal aliens that now was the time to come to America.
This move represented the apex of the Democrat Party’s politically arrogant reading of the electorate, thinking the only issue Hispanic voters cared about was amnesty for illegal aliens.
Donald Trump ended up winning 46 percent of the Hispanic vote – and 14 of the 18 counties along the Texas border – because Trump understood that Latino voters want secure borders and a booming economy over woke identity politics.
Trump realigned the electorate along class and educational lines with working class Latinos and black men coming over to the Republican Party because the woke Democrat Party became the coalition for elites.
Biden showed that Democrats still aren’t absorbing the message of the 2024 election, as Biden’s administration is now auctioning off materials Trump could use to build his promised border wall.
Trump addressed the act of sabotage in a press conference at Mar-a-Lago.
“The (Biden) Administration is trying to sell it for five cents on the dollar, knowing that we’re getting ready to put it up, and what they’re doing is almost a criminal act,” Trump stated.
“They know we’re going to use it,” Trump added.
“And if we don’t have it, we’re going to have to rebuild it. And it’ll cost double what it cost years ago,” Trump continued.
Texas officials had further warnings for Biden.
Ted Cruz cautioned that any official selling off border wall materials could face criminal charges for “theft of government property.”
“To every official at DHS, or anywhere else, who approves selling off incredibly expensive portions of the border wall for $5 a piece, you are engaged in theft of government property and you should expect the DOJ to prosecute you,” Cruz stated.
Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick declared that he had money in the state budget to buy these border wall materials and give them back to Trump.
“I will bid on all of that wall, and we will buy it in Texas, and we will give it to Donald Trump,” Patrick told Laura Ingraham.
“I’ve got a billion dollars in my pocket to do it,” Patrick added.
Other Texas elected officials said they would support Patrick’s bid to buy back border wall materials.
“If you buy it, I have a place to store it — on state land! The [Texas General Land Office] is standing by to help!” Texas Land Commissioner Dawn Buckingham declared calling Biden’s actions “shameful.”
Donald Trump wants to get going on the border wall as soon as he takes office.
Joe Biden wants to throw a monkey wrench in that plan out of spite.
