There’s still over 65 days left until Donald Trump takes office on January 20.

But his landslide victory over Kamala Harris is already making an impact.

And Jesse Watters explained how Donald Trump’s victory saved him from a nightmare Thanksgiving.

Donald Trump’s crushing victory over Kamala Harris sent the Left into a frenzy.

During Monday’s installment of Jesse Watters Primetime, host Jesse Watters talked about the hate and anger coming from the Democrats after Kamala’s loss.

Watters showed a clip of MSNBC’s Joy Reid discussing the topic with Yale University psychiatrist Dr. Amanda Calhoun.

“There is a societal push that, if somebody is your family, they are entitled to your time,” Calhoun said in the clip. “And I think the answer is absolutely not.”

Calhoun talked about the upcoming holiday family gatherings.

“So you are going to a situation where you have family members, where you have close friends who you know have voted in ways that are against you, like what you said, your livelihood, it’s completely fine to not be around those people and to tell them why,” she said. “You know, to say, ‘I have a problem with the way that you voted because it went against my very livelihood, and I’m not gonna be around you this holiday – I need to take some space for me.’”

But then Watters shared a personal experience with a member of his family who hates Donald Trump.

And that person is his mother, Dr. Anne Watters.

Jesse Watters informed his viewers that his mother did not invite him to Thanksgiving this year because of his support for Donald Trump.

“People are taking some space in the Watters household,” he said. “I’ll have you know that I was not invited to my mother’s house for Thanksgiving,” he continued. “Apparently, there wasn’t enough room, she said it was a scheduling situation and then, at the last second, invited me to come over on Black Friday.”

“I told her no thanks, ‘I’ll be at Best Buy,’” he said, before adding “since they can’t stop us, we’re not invited to Thanksgiving.”

Watters had Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, as his guest on the show.

And Lara invited Watters to have Thanksgiving with the Trump family.

“By the way, you’re more than welcome to come to the Trump house for Thanksgiving,” she said.  “I don’t want you to be left out in the cold on this one.”

But Watters declined.

“Well, that would make my mother even more upset,” Watters replied.

Of course, this is not the first time Watters has been at odds with his liberal mother.

She called in with her advice after he took over the 8pm slot after Fox News Channel fired Tucker Carlson.

“Do not tumble into any conspiracy rabbit holes,” she told him at the time. “We do not want to lose you and we want no lawsuits,” she continued. “In keeping with the Hippocratic oath, do no harm – we need you to be kind and respectful.”

In May, his mother trolled him after a New York City jury convicted him on 34 felonies in Alvin Bragg’s sham trial.

“My mom is celebrating,” Watters said. “She texted me that she was dancing after the verdict – dancing – and then she kept all day sending me 34, 34, 34 felony counts.”

“She’s a grandmother, she’s a grandmother,” he said. “Get it together, mom. Oh my God.”
