The Democrat Party and the media made the calculation that if they destroyed Elon Musk, they could stop President Trump’s agenda.

But the Democrat Party got some bad news.

The Left’s attack on Elon Musk backfires

A dispirited Democrat Party is left wandering through the political wilderness, lacking both a leader and a message.

Barack Obama, Bill Clinton and Nancy Pelosi’s time has passed. Joe Biden is senile. Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries don’t possess charisma or rhetorical skills, and the voters rejected Kamala Harris in landslide fashion on November 5.

The one rallying cry Democrats decided on was attacking Elon Musk.

Democrat Senator Chris Murphy accused, without citing evidence, Musk of seizing power to line his own pockets.

“The guy who’s running the show right now — Elon Musk — needs to take control of America’s foreign policy in order to pad his pockets,” Murphy wrote on social media.

Democrat Congressman Jamie Raskin – a Russia collusion and January 6 hoaxer – even baselessly claimed Musk usurped the powers of the Presidency and should be impeached.

“A guy who, if he were president, would be impeached immediately because he’s taking billions of dollars in foreign government emoluments from all over the world,” Raskin ranted to reporters. “And some have actually been talking about impeaching President Elon Musk right now on the theory that he’s usurped the powers of the presidency.”

But this tactic is failing.

An Engagious/Sago focus group conducted by Axios of swing voters in Arizona found 80 percent supported the slash and burn tactics of Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to shrink government and cut spending – which is ultimately the number one driver of inflation.

Sean Hannity interviewed White House Senior Counselor Alina Habba and asked about the attacks on Musk.

Musk’s company Starlink provided free internet service to Ukraine and to victims of Hurricane Helene in North Carolina.

President Trump also tasked Elon Musk with rescuing astronauts Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore, whom Joe Biden abandoned up in space.

Hannity asked Habba how anyone could hate someone like Musk who volunteers his own time and company’s resources to assist people in need.

“We have two astronauts that have been pretty much lost in space or abandoned now for nearly 300 days, and our government can’t save them,” Hannity stated. “Why is it? Why would you hate somebody like that?” 

Habba said it was just Democrats lashing out because they are out of step with the people.

Musk is the richest man in the world and one of many successful businessmen that Trump brought into the administration because the American people cried out for a new way of thinking due to the establishment’s failures on the border, the economy and in foreign policy.

“So basically, you know, it’s very basic. Let’s – let’s think about this. In our administration, we have a tremendous amount of billionaires who are successful businessmen. And I could name them all, but we know who they are who have taken a leave, sold their companies, walked away from their lives to sacrifice, to help America be great again,” Habba began.

Habba told Hannity that the Left is trying to frame Musk as public enemy number one because DOGE is exposing the great scandal of how the Democrat Party robbed the treasury to funnel taxpayer money to pet political groups through federal agencies and NGOs.

“There are many, many. Now, Elon’s become a target for one very simple reason, because he is cutting the funding to these politicians who have put their bureaucratic, personal, financial gain and interest above the American people,” Habba concluded.

The Left’s golden goose is on the chopping block.

And canceling the government contracts, such as the $50 million the Environmental Protection Agency found going out the door for “climate justice,” robs the Democrat Party of the ability to raise activist armies to implement their radical agenda.
