Taylor Swift is a magnet for headlines and gossip.

That comes with being the most famous woman in the world.

And now one rumor about Taylor Swift led to one sick attack by a former football star.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are the subject of a vulgar social media attack

Former NFL star Antonio Brown was known during his playing days as one of the defining figures that turned the wide receiver position into the diva spot where players felt no shame about making it all about themselves, their stats, and their endzone celebrations.

Since retiring from football, Brown became a prolific social media user and a supporter of former President Donald Trump.

But Brown is in some hot water for a hot take after the Kansas City Chiefs 17-10 win over the San Diego Chargers.

Brown – like much of the football world – took note of Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce’s slow start.

Kelce caught 7 passes for 89 yards in that contest but ended another game without catching a touchdown pass.

Brown blamed it on Kelce’s relationship with pop star Taylor Swift.

“Travis Kelce needs some black p*****. That bro washed,” Brown crudely posted on X.

Brown later posted that he was just making a joke and wrote “it’s called comedy.”

Travis Kelce’s slow start

Kelce’s slow start to the season has been a topic of conversation in the football media.

Former ESPN analyst Todd McShay told The Ringer’s Ryen Russillo that Kelce looks like he spent his offseason partying and traveling with Taylor Swift and looks flabby and out of shape.

“What I do know is: I want you to take a picture from preseason 2022 and then take a picture preseason 2024; they’re barely the same human being, Ryan,” added McShay. “And everyone’s like, ‘We gotta get him the ball. Why isn’t he part of the offense? The defense is double-covering (him).’ Here’s the thing, bottom line with Kelce, the coverage and the respect he gets is the same; the athlete is not,” McShay stated.

Travis Kelce addressed his sluggish start on the New Heights podcast with his brother Jason.

“I’ve had a lot of catches in this league, man, I’m not worried about the catches and the yards, and all of that, I have the most fun when I get the ball thrown my way, I mean, who doesn’t?” Kelce stated.

Kelce said he doesn’t play for stats and what matters the most is winning football games.

“It has everything to do with execution and just making sure we’re doing everything we can to win these football games, that’s always going to be the goal,” Kelce concluded.

For all the talk of Kelce’s numbers not measuring up to his past performance, the Chiefs are off to a 4-0 start.

And they are still the favorites to win their third straight Super Bowl championship.
