RINO Mitch McConnell keeps finding new ways to undermine Donald Trump on the campaign trail.

He is likely secretly hoping Trump loses.

And Mitch McConnell just did Kamala Harris one big favor that will make you sick to your stomach.

Mitch McConnell’s latest attempt to ambush Trump

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) already sandbagged former President Donald Trump’s push to include the SAVE Act – which requires proof of citizenship when registering to vote – as part of the government funding bill.

Now, McConnell is attacking another core pillar of Trump’s Presidential campaign.

And that’s the former President’s support for America First trade policies that put a greater emphasis on American manufacturing jobs.

A reporter asked McConnell about Trump’s recent promise to slap a 200% tariff on John Deere tractors if they shipped production to Mexico.

“Former President Trump has proposed a 200% tariff on John Deere tractors if they’re made in Mexico. Are you concerned that some of these tariff proposals by the GOP nominee could drive up costs for consumers or hurt bourbon exporters in Kentucky, for example?” the reporter asked.

McConnell criticized tariffs and said he was part of the RINO Mitt Romney-Liz Cheney wing of the Republican Party that supported globalist trade deals.

“Yeah, I’m not a fan of tariffs,” McConnell began.

“They raise prices for American consumers. I’m more of a free trade kind of Republican that remembers how many jobs are created by the exports that we engage in. And so I’m not a tariff fan,” McConnell added.

Trump’s record on trade

Trump’s record shows McConnell is wrong.

During Trump’s first term in office, he enacted tariffs on foreign-made solar panels, washing machines, steel, and aluminum as well as massive $50 billion tariffs on goods from communist China.

The economy boomed and wages went up because Trump also cut taxes, slashed regulations, and limited the flow of cheap foreign labor into America.

Trump wants to recreate that prosperity in a second term.

That’s why in a speech in Pennsylvania Trump promised to hit John Deere with 200% tariffs if they closed American plants and shipped those jobs to Mexico.

“They’ve announced a few days ago that they’re going to move a lot of their manufacturing business to Mexico. I’m just notifying John Deere right now: If you do that, we’re putting a 200% tariff on everything that you want to sell into the United States,” Trump declared.

But in a subsequent rally in Georgia, Trump proposed lowering the corporate tax rate to 15% for any company that kept their production facility in the United States.

“Now we’re cutting the business tax from 21% to 15% which makes us the most competitive tax anywhere in the planet, but only for those who make their product in the USA,” Trump stated. “At 21 we were pretty good. At 15, we’re the most competitive. People are going to be pouring in, companies are going to be pouring in.”

Mitch McConnell ignored Trump’s first term record as well as his proposals for a second term to create a quick soundbite that only serves to benefit Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign.
