Panic in the media over post-debate polls
The polls released immediately after the election showed no bounce for Vice President Kamala Harris despite the media claiming she turned in the greatest debate performance since Cicero.
Mitchell is a respected instate pollster in Michigan.
And Mitchell’s post-debate survey had former President Donald Trump and Kamala tied.

Michigan is a critical battleground.
Yet the state is a jump ball despite a CNN poll showing 63 percent of voters thought Kamala won the debate.
That’s because of another number in the CNN poll.
And it was the finding that after the debate Trump grew his lead over Kamala to 20 points on the economy.
A CNN on-air panel panicked over this finding with host Kate Bolduan.
Bolduan latched on to the secretive Federal Reserve attempting to manipulate the economy through an interest rate cut this month.
“We’ve got the Fed very likely looking to cut rates for the first time since early pandemic days. What does that mean for this point in the campaign? Because it’s a funky place,” Bolduan began.
Bolduan admitted Kamala needed all the help she could get because Trump is “killing her” on the economy.
“You’ve got, potentially, a good sign that Kamala Harris can talk about, kind of quote-unquote late-stage change, but you still have Donald Trump killing her when it comes to the economy. In that snap poll after the debate, he was up 20 points on the economy even though the vast majority said she won the debate,” Bolduan stated.
The economy is Trump’s big advantage
Americans remember inflation was 1.4% and gasoline was $2.39 per gallon.
That’s why Trump leads her on the economy.
Even CNN’s fake conservative commentator Alyssa Farrah Griffin admitted the economy was Trump’s ace in the hole.
“The economy is objectively Donald Trump’s strongest issue, but it comes down to can he actually focus on that?” Griffin stated.
Bolduan then whined that Democrats couldn’t come up with a good answer as to why Americans aren’t giving Kamala Harris credit for the economy.
“I just think the response I’ve gotten to ‘why isn’t she doing better on the economy’ or ‘why wasn’t Biden doing better on the economy’ that I’ve gotten from administration officials and from Democratic electeds, it has been unsatisfying to this point, which is they just haven’t gotten our message,” Bolduan added.
She warned Democrats that they were running out of time.
“And at some point, I’m asking, where’s the expiration date on that reasoning? As at some point there has to be,” Bolduan concluded.
Americans aren’t listening to Kamala Harris’ message on the economy because they know her votes for trillions in new spending caused the inflation crisis that saw prices jump 20 percent.
