Robert Mueller hatched this truly awful plot to frame Donald Trump
Robert Mueller is exhausting every avenue of investigation in his quest to impeach Donald Trump.
And he just found a new one.
But one of Donald Trump’s closest associates blew the whistle on a new plan to frame Trump for collusion with Russia.
Robert Mueller is investigating Roger Stone for supposed contacts with WikiLeaks.
Stone – who has known Trump for 40 years – and WikiLeaks both deny Stone communicated with the group about hacked emails obtained from Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta.
Stone claimed to have a backchannel with WikiLeaks through New York City radio host Randy Credico.
But Stone also admitted he has a second source – someone who got information from a journalist about what WikiLeaks was planning.
Some speculate Corsi was that source.
Mueller interviewed Corsi and some of his associates.
Stone believes that Mueller may be more interested in Jerome Corsi meeting with Trump than anything he did.
Mueller could be using Corsi meeting with Trump as his “evidence” to frame the President for Russian collusion.
The Washington Post reports:
Stone said he asked Trump why he was inquiring about Corsi.
“I’ve been talking to him,” Stone recalled Trump saying.
Stone said that Corsi also met with Trump during the 2016 campaign. Trump attorney Jay Sekulow declined to comment.
Mueller, Stone added, may have been “more interested in those meetings than anything to do with me.”
