This was not the time for a wardrobe malfunction.

But in the entertainment industry, they say the only bad publicity is no publicity.

That’s now put to the test as a female rapper had a wardrobe malfunction at the worst possible moment.

Female rapper GloRilla pulled over by police

Police in Gwinnett County, Georgia observed a vehicle making an illegal U-turn at a red light at approximately 4:00 in the morning.

When they pulled the car over they discovered the driver was rap star GloRilla who recently teamed with rapper Megan the Stallion on the hit song ‘Wanna Be.’

TMZ reports the officer who pulled over GloRilla smelled drugs and alcohol coming from the car.

“The officer who took the report claims he smelled marijuana and alcohol emanating from the car, and claims GloRilla told him she’d been drinking that evening … but, he explains she wouldn’t say how much she’d consumed, and insisted she was good to drive,” TMZ reports.

GloRilla then allegedly failed the field sobriety tests.

“The police say they then administered a field sobriety test — which they claim GloRilla was shaky on, especially staying on her feet. They put her through the wringer, it seems — making her do the eye-follow test, the walk-and-turn, one-leg balance, walk-in-a-straight-line, etc,” TMZ added.

Police then reported that GloRilla refused to take a breathalyzer, which is automatic grounds for arrest.

But what made this all the more embarrassing was the fact that the entire time GloRilla’s breast popped out of her top and the cops had to pretend like none of this was happening.

“On just about all of them … the cops claim she bombed. Finally, they got to the breathalyzer … which the police claim she refused to submit to. During this whole back and forth, the cop says GloRilla’s breast slipped out from under her clothes — which he had to tell her about. This was not the time for a wardrobe malfunction,” TMZ also reported.

GloRilla facing charges following her arrest

According to TMZ, GloRilla was booked on charges of “suspicion of driving under the influence, consuming/possessing an open alcoholic beverage container and a separate traffic charge.”

GloRilla posted bond at 6:12 AM and left jail.

There is currently no mention of the arrest in her social media which is still only posting her music.

That’s a change from past generations of hip hop stars like 2PAC who would make public spectacles of their arrest and create hit songs about their run-ins with the law.

But rap music is no longer a counterculture anti-establishment institution.

Hip hop artists largely lost their edge over the last decade as they sought to conform to the woke ideology that’s permeated pop culture.

15-20 years ago, GloRilla would have bragged about this arrest, worked it into her music, and probably staged a publicity stunt playing off it at the MTV Movie Awards.
