Democrats are on edge about the possibility of retiring West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin making an Independent bid for the White House this fall.

He’s left the door open for him to jump into the race in the coming months.

But no one expected Joe Manchin to name this RINO as his top choice for a Presidential running mate this fall.

Last November, Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), who many considered to be the most vulnerable Democrat incumbent, announced his decision to not seek re-election this fall.

Manchin’s retirement made Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s (D-NY) effort to hang on to the majority in the Senate that much more difficult.

But it also sent terror down the spines of President Joe Biden’s campaign officials.

Not long after he announced his retirement, Manchin launched a “listening tour” where he has been traveling the country and meeting with voters in hopes of bridging the massive political divide in America.

Manchin has since dropped many hints that indicate he is leaning toward making an Independent bid on the No Labels ticket.

No Labels is a nonpartisan group that raised $70 million to gain ballot access in all 50 states with the hopes of creating a “unity ticket” consisting of one Republican and one Democrat.

Rumors have been circulating that Joe Manchin is the Democrat candidate whom No Labels would like to see on their ticket this fall.

Manchin recently traveled to Cleveland, Ohio, as part of his “listening tour.”

He tried to brush aside rumors that he was running as an Independent.

“Guys, listen,” he said. “I’m not running for anything. I’m basically running to try to get people involved.”

But in an interview after the event, Manchin admitted that “nothing is off the table.”

“Third-party run,” Manchin said, before adding that “everything is on the table.”

“Nothing’s off the table,” he said. “I’m still evaluating all that. Super Tuesday pretty much would be a deadline that tells you where you are.”

Manchin also revealed his choice for a running mate.

And his top choice is none other than RINO Mitt Romney, who is also retiring from the Senate this year.

“Hypothetically, if I was picking my running mate, really who I would ask right now is Mitt Romney,” Manchin said in Cleveland during his “listening tour.”

He also praised former RINO former Senator Rob Portman as the type of Republican he would select to fill out the ticket.

“Rob’s a dear friend of mine,” Manchin said. “What a good man.”

Joe Manchin continues to neither confirm nor deny if he is planning a White House bid this fall.

And Joe Biden will be sweating bullets until Manchin announces his final decision after Super Tuesday.
