It’s hard to call MSNBC a news network.

What the channel now allows on the air has accusations of racism flying.

And MSNBC aired this racist video that will leave you red with rage.

MSNBC promotes book attacking “white rural rage”

MSNBC put authors Paul Waldman and Thomas Schaller on Morning Joe to promote their book White Rural Rage: The Threat to American Democracy.

Schaller launched into a tirade calling white Americans who live in rural areas ignorant bigots who wouldn’t wear masks during COVID and believe in conspiracy theories.

“They are the most racist, xenophobic, anti-immigrant, anti-gay, geodemographic group in the country,” Schaller ranted. “Second, they’re the most conspiracist group. QAnon support and subscribers, election denialism, COVID denialism instead of scientific skepticism, Obama birtherism.”

Schaller also claimed that because rural Americans – rightfully – distrust the media after years of lies and hoaxes and believe in God they are fascist Christian nationalists who want to overthrow democracy.

“They don’t believe in an independent press, free speech,” Schaller added. “They’re most likely to say the President should be able to act unilaterally without any checks from Congress, or the courts or the bureaucracy. They’re also the most strongly white nationalist and white Christian nationalist.”

“Fourth, they’re most likely to excuse or justify violence as an acceptable alternative to peaceful public discourse,” Schaller said.

Book attacks Trump

Waldman claimed former President Trump served as a “conduit for [White rural voters’] rage and anger” and added that rural Americans were too dumb and poor to know any better saying “they have more problematic education systems” and that “we’ve seen a lot of manufacturing jobs leave from rural areas.”

“All that [Trump] gave them was essentially a way to give a big middle finger to Democrats, to people who live in cities, and to the rest of the country,” Waldman added.

Conservatives blast MSNBC

MSNBC put this segment on the air because this is exactly what their audience thinks of Trump supporters.

Schaller is a university professor and Waldman is a journalist.

Having them come on television and claim rural Americans are low-IQ racists who failed at life gives “expert” and independent confirmation of what the audience already inherently believes.

The segment drew scorn across social media.

Democrats are the real source of political violence

Democrats want an election year narrative that Trump voters are domestic extremists trying to overthrow democracy to scare swing voters.

But the truth is in the summer of 2020 the Black Lives Matter and Antifa terrorist attacks were a violent movement designed to effect political change beginning with the implicit message that if Americans voted to re-elect Donald Trump, then the violence would continue.
