Ilhan Omar ended Joe Biden’s Presidential campaign with one confession
Joe Biden’s Presidential campaign is on the rocks.
Biden is under fire for charges of corruption regarding his son Hunter and his work in the Ukraine, and recent polling shows Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren leading Biden in the must win Iowa caucus.
Now, Ilhan Omar ended Joe Biden’s Presidential campaign with one confession.
Ilhan Omar is one of the most radical Democrats in Congress.
Omar’s socialist and anti-American views caught fire with the Democrats’ voter base and Omar quickly became the face of the party.
And she just ruined Joe Biden’s campaign by blasting the former Vice President for not being the candidate of big “change.”
Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) declared over the weekend that former Vice President Joe Biden doesn’t have what it takes to achieve “systemic” social change — yet another indication that his 2020 bid faces heavy skepticism from the Democrat Party’s progressive wing.
“There are few people who fit into the kind of progress that we all want to see in this country,” Omar said in an interview with the Guardian on Saturday. “And I would say he is not one of them.”
“I think it has been very clear to many of the people who have been creating the kind of movement that is exciting generations, that we want somebody who really has a plan that is going to tackle a lot of the systematic challenges that we have, and he doesn’t,” she added.
Biden still holds the lead in meaningless national polls.
But in the key early states of Iowa and New Hampshire he is tied or losing.
Omar’s comments will send a strong signal to grassroots Democrats in those states that they should look elsewhere for a candidate.
