Hillary Clinton still can’t accept this one simple truth
Hillary Clinton continues to deliver insane speeches.
And they are all about the 2016 election.
But there is one simple truth about the race she refuses to accept.
Clinton spoke at fundraiser in Chicago and she once again touched on the 2016 campaign.
And unbelievably, she declared she still could not understand why she lost.
The Daily Caller reports:
“Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said on Thursday that she still doesn’t know exactly why she lost in the 2016 presidential election.
Clinton wrote a book called “What Happened” after her loss, but apparently she still hasn’t quite figured it out.
“You know, after the devastating election of 2016, which you know I’m still trying to figure out, to be honest with you,” she began during a speech at Ida’s Legacy Fundraiser in Chicago.
Clinton’s lack of awareness manifested itself in her speech, as she went on to deride the Trump White House for promoting “racist and white supremacist views.”
“You know, maybe I don’t need to say this because it’s pretty obvious: we are living in challenging times. We’re living through a war on truth, facts, and reason,” Clinton said. “Watching as racists and white supremacist views are lifted up in the media and in the White House.”
It’s easy to figure out why Clinton lost.
She was the picture of a corrupt, ladder-climbing swamp creature.
Clinton – who said she left the White House nearly broke – banked tens of millions of dollars in speaking fees.
She “earned” fabulous wealth not because she had a brilliant idea or produced antryhing of value, but because banks and other influence peddlers paid for future access to her administration in the form of extravagant speaking fees.
Clinton also was weighed down by the constant drumbeat of scandal surrounding pay-for-play at the Clinton Foundation and her illegal private email server.
Americans suffered through eight years of her husband’s scandal-plagued Presidency and they were not eager for a do over.
Finally, Donald Trump’s Make America Great Again message was vastly more inspiring than Hillary Clinton’s insulting plea that she should be elected because she was a woman and she would enact Obama’s first term.
Hillary doesn’t have to look far for answers as to why she lost.
But it would take a slice of humility and self awareness that she lacks.
