Donald Trump shut down Mike Bloomberg with this harsh reality check
Billionaire former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg is trying to buy his way into the Presidency.
And right now Bloomberg’s strategy is working as Joe Biden’s collapse allowed Bloomberg to rise in the Democrat Party primary polls.
But now Donald Trump shut down Mike Bloomberg with this harsh reality check.
Mike Bloomberg is carpet bombing the Super Tuesday States with $300 million in TV ads to cover up his disastrous record as New York City Mayor.
Bloomberg doesn’t want voters to know he doubled down on the racist “stop and frisk” policy to put Black and Latino gun owners in jail.
A 2015 audio tape of Bloomberg surfaced where the Mayor defended targeting Black and Latino gun owners because claimed you could “Xerox” the M.O. of murder suspects, which is why the police had to target minority firearms owners.
Bloomberg is an anti-gun zealot who wants to disarm all Americans and he put step one of his plan in place in New York City by targeting minorities gun owners as criminals.
President Trump reacted to the tape by blasting Bloomberg as a “racist.”
“Honestly, if you were a black person in New York, you were stopped two times a day, three times a day, you couldn’t go to your house, they were stopping you every day,” Trump stated. “What Bloomberg did to the back community was a disgrace.”
Trump conceded that Rudy Giuliani started the program, but that Giuliani put “stop and frisk” in place to catch actual criminals.
Bloomberg used it to attack gun owners.
“Bloomberg came in and he multiplied it times ten,” the President added. “If you were a Black person walking down the street, you were going to be stopped and frisked under Bloomberg.”
“I would be very surprised if the Black community can support him,” Trump concluded.
President Trump win eight percent of the Black vote in 2016.
The Trump campaign believes that because of the President’s economic record – Black unemployment is at the lowest level in history – and President Trump signing criminal justice reform into law that Trump can win an even higher percentage of the Black vote in 2020.
If Mike Bloomberg is the nominee the President will be able to point to Bloomberg’s racially motivated attack on Black gun owners as a reason for Black voters to support his bid for re-election.
