Donald Trump made a promise that just ended this backstabbing RINO’s career
Despite the fact that Donald Trump is facing the voters’ judgment five months from now, some Republicans refuse to unite behind his candidacy.
These troublemakers continue to try and divide the GOP at a time when the President needs unity.
But now Donald Trump made a promise that just ended this backstabbing RINO’s career.
Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski is one of the biggest RINOs in all of Washington, D.C.
Murkowski supports abortion and gun control and also voted against Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court.
Conservatives have been trying to get rid of Murkowski for years and now they may have their chance.
President Trump tweeted on Thursday that he would endorse and campaign for anyone who ran against Murkowski in a GOP primary.
“Few people know where they’ll be in two years from now, but I do, in the Great State of Alaska (which I love) campaigning against Senator Lisa Murkowski. She voted against HealthCare, Justice Kavanaugh, and much else Unrelated, I gave Alaska ANWR, major highways, and more. Get any candidate ready, good or bad, I don’t care, I’m endorsing. If you have a pulse, I’m with you!” the President posted to social media.
President Trump buried Murkowski after Murkowski praised comments by former Secretary of Defense General James Mattis that sided with the rioters and falsely claimed President Trump used the military to oppress so-called “peaceful” protestors.
“When I saw General Mattis’ comments yesterday I felt like perhaps we are getting to a point where we can be more honest with the concerns that we might hold internally and have the courage of our own convictions to speak up,” Murkowski said.
Murkowski went so far as to claim that Mattis’ comments caused her to struggle with supporting the President for re-election.
“I was really thankful. I thought General Mattis’ words were true, and honest and necessary and overdue,” Murkowski said. “And, I have been struggling for the right words, and I was encouraged a couple of nights ago when I was able to read what President Bush had written. And I found that to be empowering for me as one leader.”
The outcome of the 2020 election is still in doubt.
But there is now no question that Lisa Murkowski will enter the 2022 campaign – no matter what happens – facing the most difficult fight of her political career.
