Chuck Schumer told one outrageous Obamagate lie that left Trump red with rage
It’s desperation time for Chuck Schumer and the Democrats.
The Obamagate scandal is snowballing out of control for the Left.
And now Chuck Schumer told one outrageous Obamagate lie that left Trump red with rage.
The crux of the Obamagate scandal is that the Obama administration and FBI conjured up the Russian collusion hoax to first spy on Donald Trump’s campaign and then to sabotage his Presidency.
But in an interview on MSNBC, Chuck Schumer actually claimed it was President Trump and his allies using Russian disinformation to attack former President Obama.
“Right now, at the White House — at the Camp David, instead of the president sitting down and talking with experts on COVID and how to get the testing out, or how to follow up on getting a vaccine, instead of doing what he usually does, makes a grandiose announcement and then forgets about it, he’s talking to a group of hard-right Republican congressmen to talk about more conspiracy theories,” Schumer began.
“How do we go after Joe Biden? How do we go after Barack Obama? Mr. President, there’s a crisis in America. Stop these conspiracy theories, many of which had Russian origin, and start rolling up your sleeves and helping us solve the problem here,” Schumer added.
In fact, it is the exact opposite that is true.
The Christopher Steele dossier – which contained the original allegations of the Trump campaign colluding with Russia – was filled with Russian disinformation.
Steele’s dossier accused Michael Cohen of traveling to Prague and Carter Page journeying to Moscow to set up an agreement between the Trump campaign and Russia to steal the 2016 election.
The dossier famously alleged Russia had compromising information on President Trump in the form of the “pee tape.”
All of these allegations were false and planted by Russian intelligence as part of a disinformation campaign.
But these false claims all formed the backbone of the Russian collusion narrative that Democrats and their allies in the Fake News Media spent three years promoting.
