Tucker Carlson just called out Donald Trump in one way that no one saw coming
Tucker Carlson is considered one of Donald Trump’s biggest supporters in the media.
That’s why Carlson’s latest monologue stunned viewers into silence.
And Tucker Carlson just called out Donald Trump in one way that no one saw coming.
On Monday night Carlson took aim at Washington, D.C.’s handling of the outbreak of the coronavirus.
Carlson called out elected officials for trying to minimize the outbreak and dismissing coronavirus as simply “the flu.”
“People you trust, people you probably voted for, have spent weeks minimizing what is clearly a very serious problem. ‘It’s just partisan politics,’ they say. ‘Calm down. In the end this was just like the flu and people die from that every year. Coronavirus will pass. And when it does, we will feel foolish for worrying about it.’
“That’s their position. No doubt these people have good intentions as they say, this many of them anyway. They may not know any better. Maybe they’re just not paying attention, or maybe they believe they’re serving some higher cause by shading reality.
“No one wants to be manipulated by a corrupt media establishment — and it is corrupt. And there’s an election coming up. Best not to say anything that might help the other side. We get it. But they’re wrong. The Chinese coronavirus is a major event . . . It’s definitely not just the flu.”
There is little doubt Carlson addressed his remarks to Donald Trump.
Earlier that day President Trump tried to reassure the American people that they did not have to buy into the media fear-mongering about coronavirus because the flu infected and killed far more Americans.
So last year 37,000 Americans died from the common Flu. It averages between 27,000 and 70,000 per year. Nothing is shut down, life & the economy go on. At this moment there are 546 confirmed cases of CoronaVirus, with 22 deaths. Think about that!

Carlson believes the outbreak of the coronavirus – of which there is still not an accurate mortality rate as experts say it kills anywhere from 1 to 3.4 percent of those infected – is far more serious than leaders are letting on.
The popular Fox News host tried to catch the President’s attention and nudge him into further action before America ends up like Italy where the government let the outbreak get out of control and now the entire country is on lockdown and hospitals don’t have enough bends to treat the sick.
