Ted Cruz turned the tables on Nancy Pelosi with these five words

Nancy Pelosi tried to rally Democrats ahead of the Midterm elections.

But Pelosi never saw this coming.

And Ted Cruz turned the tables on Nancy Pelosi with these five words.

With polls showing Republicans set up for a Red wave in November, Nancy Pelosi tried to terrify Democrat voters into turning out for the Midterms by claiming democracy would end if the GOP wins the majority in November.

“It is absolutely essential for our democracy that we win. I fear for our democracy if the Republicans were ever to get the gavel,” Pelosi claimed.

Laura Ingraham set up an interview with Texas Senator Ted Cruz by noting that Democrats were already planting the seeds to reject the results of the November election.

“She’s already laying the groundwork for the possibility that her Party may not accept the results of the Midterms if Republicans take over Congress,” Ingraham began.

Ingraham explained that after Donald Trump won the 2016 election, the Left tried to force Electoral College voters to change their votes.

When that failed, Democrats pushed to scrap the Electoral College all together.

“The ugly truth is, the self-proclaimed defenders of democracy hate our system and they also hate most of the voters. They want the entire Electoral College scrapped,” Ingraham continued.

Cruz heartily agreed with that sentiment, telling Fox News viewers that to Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats, more Americans voting for Republicans meant the election was stolen.

“They know they’re gonna lose and Nancy Pelosi’s not gonna go quietly,” Cruz added. “She’s gonna scream, she’s already preparing to scream the election was stolen. And by the way, what she means by stolen [sic, Pelosi did not use the word ‘stolen’ when talking about the Midterms] is people showed up to vote against Democrats. That’s what stealing the election is.”

Finally, Cruz dropped the hammer, saying of Democrats, “They don’t believe in democracy.”

Democrats objected to the results of the 2000, 2004, and 2016 elections, claiming Republicans stole the Presidency in each case.

Maryland Congressman Jamie Raskin, who served as an impeachment manager and sits on the January 6 Select Committee, even has a video on his YouTube page of himself objecting to the results in Florida on January 6, 2016.

Joe Biden even went so far as to say this year’s Midterm elections would not be legitimate unless Congress passed a federal power grab to rig every election going forward in the Democrats’ favor.

One of the ironclad rules of politics is Democrats are always actually guilty of whatever offenses they accuse Republicans of committing.

In this case, it is really Democrats who are the ones undercutting and attacking democracy.
