Stormy Daniels’ plan to ruin President Trump just collapsed with one phone call
The media has been promoting adult film star Stormy Daniels as the woman who could destroy the Trump Presidency.
Her lawyer Michael Avenatti – with the help of many in the media – has been claiming President Trump is involved in a scheme to violate campaign finance laws by paying Daniels “hush money” over an alleged affair in 2006.
But Daniels’ plan to ruin the President was destroyed with one phone call.
Daniels had been claiming that Trump attorney Michael Cohen paid her $130,000 in “hush money” to silence her story before the 2016 election.
When Cohen’s office and home were raided by the FBI in April, pundits assumed Daniels would be the star witness in their case against Cohen.
That all changed when the camera-hungry Avenatti tweeted out that federal prosecutors canceled their interview with Daniels.
This led Avenatti to question what was going on.
ever bring any serious criminal charges against Cohen et al., let alone handle a trial, in such a high profile matter? We have bent over backwards to accommodate them. This is unheard of. We remain willing to cooperate but something isn’t right…

Critics immediately wondered if the claims that Cohen and Trump conspired to violate campaign finance laws completely collapsed.
The allegation that they committed a crime was always dubious at best.
If Cohen paid Daniels to save the Trump family embarrassment then there was no requirement for him to report the contribution as a campaign expenditure.
Did prosecutors – who have poured through millions of documents judge Daniels and her claims to be bunk?
Or did they just want to avoid Daniels and Avenatti’s media freak show?
