Donald Trump destroyed Mitch McConnell with just seven words
Donald Trump cannot stand RINO Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.
McConnell is oftentimes the Democrats’ best friend.
And now Donald Trump destroyed Mitch McConnell with just seven words.
Senate Democrats just passed the centerpiece of Joe Biden’s socialist agenda.
Chuck Schumer pushed a Party-line vote to muscle a bill containing hundreds of billions of dollars in tax increases and inflationary socialist spending through the Senate.
The spending spree languished for months because Democrats could not come to an internal agreement on what they wanted in the bill.
Mitch McConnell formed a plan to supposedly stop the bill.
McConnell announced Republicans would not support a $280 billion corporate welfare bailout of the semiconductor industry – a high priority for Schumer and Biden – as long as Democrats considered passing the larger socialist tax-and-spend bill.
But when West Virginia Democrat Joe Manchin said he would only support a spending bill that extended Obamacare subsidies, McConnell dropped the blockade of the bailout bill and handed Joe Biden a major victory.
Just hours after that announcement, Schumer and Manchin reached a deal on more than $700 billion in new taxes that will hit every American.
The legislation also included funding for 87,000 new IRS agents that will audit middle-class Americans.
After Senate Democrats celebrated their victory, Donald Trump blasted Mitch McConnell for his tactical incompetence in a post on Truth Social, saying “Mitch McConnell got played like a fiddle.”
“Mitch McConnell got played like a fiddle with the vote today by the Senate Democrats. First he gave them the fake Infrastructure Bill, then Guns, never used the Debt Ceiling for negotiating purposes (gave it away for NOTHING!), and now this. Mitch doesn’t have a clue – he is sooo bad for the Republican Party!” Trump wrote.
Republican Senators shared Trump’s view that McConnell got outplayed.
Louisiana Senator John Kennedy lamented that Republicans “got our ass kicked” in the deal.
“We got our ass kicked. It’s just that simple,” said Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.). “Looks to me like we got rinky-doo’d. That’s a Louisiana word for ‘screwed.’ And we got our ass kicked. That’s the way my people back home see it.”
Mitch McConnell gifting Joe Biden victories on gun control and now a massive power grab to impose socialism on America threatens to depress Republican turnout this fall and allow Democrats to maintain control of Congress.
