Donald Trump as he delivered this ultimatum that worked like a charm

Donald Trump has been known to use threats to influence a negotiation.

He went back to that playbook.

And Donald Trump as he delivered this ultimatum that worked like a charm.

A sure sign the globalists are worried that former President Donald Trump could very well win the Presidency is the fact that an increasing number of NATO countries are set to hit their target of spending rate 2% of gross domestic product on national defense.

“NATO expects about two-thirds of allies to hit 2% in 2024,” The Financial Times reported.

Trump spent four years as President badgering the freeloaders in NATO that they needed to start paying for their own defense and not count on the American taxpayer to protect their countries if they weren’t willing to.

During a recent campaign speech, Trump again warned NATO countries that the United States needed to worry about securing its border and that the European countries needed to start paying for their own national defense.

“NATO was busted until I came along,” Trump declared. “I said, ‘Everybody’s gonna pay.’ They said, ‘Well, if we don’t pay, are you still going to protect us?’ I said, ‘Absolutely not.’ They couldn’t believe the answer.”

“One of the Presidents of a big country, he stood up, he said: ‘Well sir, if we don’t pay, and we’re attacked by Russia, will you protect us?’ I said, ‘You didn’t pay, you’re delinquent … no I would not protect you, in fact, I would encourage them to do whatever the hell they want,” Trump added.

The media lost their minds at these comments, but all Trump was saying was it was immoral for Europe to count on the United States to help them if they weren’t willing to help themselves.

Russia’s war in Ukraine is an issue for Europe’s collective security, not that of the United States.

Europe should be footing the bill for this conflict and not the American people.

Trump thinks the money spent on Ukraine would be better served being spent on securing America’s southern border and stopping the record flow of illegal aliens into this country.

European leaders are finally getting the message.

And they are legitimately worried Trump will pull out of NATO or change America’s role in the alliance unless they start actually meeting their obligations.
