The southern border is in complete chaos and Democrats know they have a problem on their hands.

But one Democrat let the real truth slip.

And Chuck Schumer delivered an ultimatum about the border crisis that put jaws on the ground.

Democrats and Mitch McConnell pressure Speaker Johnson on Ukraine

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), and RINO Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) met at the White House to discuss the March 1 government funding deadline.

But during the meeting, McConnell teamed with Schumer, Biden, and Jeffries to try and bully Johnson into putting the Senate’s $95 billion foreign aid slush fund bill on the floor of the House for a vote.

Johnson declared the legislation a nonstarter in the House as it contains $61 billion for Biden’s war in Ukraine but no policy changes to seal the southern border and halt the record flow of illegal aliens into the country that Biden set in motion.

After the meeting, Schumer told reporters he had never seen anything like the pressure campaign they sprung on Johnson.

“The meeting on Ukraine was one of the most intense I have ever encountered” Schumer stated.

“The intensity in that room was surprising to me,” Schumer said. “The overwhelming sentiment in that meeting is we have to do Ukraine now.”

‘We said to the Speaker: Get it done” Schumer stated, adding that he told Johnson “history is looking over your shoulder… It’s in his hands.”

Speaker Johnson holds out for border security

Schumer recounted that Johnson said he wouldn’t move any bill funding Ukraine for a vote until Biden and Congress passed real border security that completely shuts down illegal immigration in America.

Schumer actually came out and told reporters that didn’t make any sense as securing the border in Ukraine was vastly more urgent than securing the border in America.

“To hold up Ukraine (over the border) was a non-sequitur,” Schumer declared.

“There’s a logic to solving the border. We want to solve it. But we have to do Ukraine now,” Schumer concluded.

Schumer said the quiet part out loud – that Democrats and Congressional RINOs like McConnell – view Ukraine as their real priority and that they don’t care at all about the border here in America.

That will have the opposite effect than what they intended.

Speaker Johnson won’t feel any pressure to bring a Ukraine funding bill up for a vote as the “Swamp” finally admitted they have no interest in securing America’s border.

Schumer, McConnell, Jeffries and Biden’s indifference to the crisis at the southern border is also fueling former President Donald Trump’s lead in the polls.

As long as the border is wide open and the American people see elected officials trying to put Ukraine’s border ahead of America’s, Trump will continue to ride a wave of voter backlash toward a second term.
