Al Sharpton is sweating bullets after one truth about his past just went public
Al Sharpton is one of the leading voices in the Democrat Party.
Because liberals are obsessed with identity politics, Sharpton rose to prominence despite being caught up in numerous racial controversies.
And now Al Sharpton is sweating bullets after one truth about his past just went public.
On Thursday, Sharpton testified before the House Judiciary Committee on policing practices.
Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz used this opportunity to question Sharpton about his history of racist and anti-Semitic remarks.
Gaetz referred Sharpton to a 2000 resolution introduced by then Florida Congressman – and current MSNBC colleague – Joe Scarborough called the “Condemning the Racist and Anti-Semitic Views of the Reverend Al Sharpton.”
Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) exposed Al Sharpton’s history of racist and antisemitic rhetoric on Thursday — doing so, in part, by relying on past complaints by Sharpton’s MSNBC colleague, Morning Joe co-host Joe Scarborough.
As Breitbart News has documented, Sharpton has a long record of using racist and antisemitic rhetoric. Many Jews blamed him for exacerbating mob violence against the Jewish community in New York in the 1990s.
More recently, Sharpton led protests against the 2012 death of black teenager Travyon Martin, which he and fellow activists cast as racially motivated, marking the beginning of a decline in race relations that has lasted several years.
On Thursday, Sharpton appeared before a congressional hearing at the House Judiciary Committee on policing practices. During his turn to question the witnesses, Gaetz referred to a resolution, H.Con.Res. 270, which then-Rep. Scarborough introduced in 2000.
Al Sharpton played a leading role in instigating the Crown Heights riots in the early 1990s in New York City.
Sharpton attacked Jewish business owners, which lead to one death and the destruction of a Jewish-owned store.
And in the 1980s, Sharpton figured prominently in the Tawana Brawley hoax where Brawley claimed white police officers raped her, only to later to admit making the whole thing up.
