Nancy Pelosi is going to face an investigation over a big crime against Donald Trump
Nancy Pelosi could find herself in hot water.
If Democrats lose the November elections, Republicans may turn the tables on the Speaker of the House.
And now Nancy Pelosi is going to face an investigation over a big crime against Donald Trump.
Ohio Republican Congressman Jim Jordan is one of Donald Trump’s strongest supporters in Congress.
Jordan is set to Chair the Judiciary Committee if Republicans take back the House of Representatives in November.
Jordan spoke a truth even Democrats and the January 6 Committee now openly admit – that this investigation is a political witch hunt to stop Donald Trump from running for re-election in 2024.
Jordan blasted the Committee for subpoenaing and harassing Americans who exercised their First Amendment right to protest and petition their government by signing an application for a permit to hold a rally on January 6.
“There’s been subpoenas issued to 11 individuals, 11 American citizens who asked the government permission on an application to hold the Trump rally,” Jordan stated. “The government granted it and now the January 6 Committee petitions them to ask them questions about exercising their First Amendment right to assemble.”
Jordan also blasted the Committee for subpoenaing him over the fact that he spoke to President Trump on the phone.
“And why would they subpoena me? I didn’t do anything wrong — I talked to the President,” Jordan said. “I talk to the President all the time. I just think that’s — you know where I’m at on this commission — this is all about going after President Trump. That seems obvious.”
Jordan ripped the Committee as a political hit job.
“Everyone in the country sees this as a political operation. This is designed to get after President Trump. Because they don’t want him to run again,” Jordan added.
Should Republicans win back the House in November, Jordan will Chair one of the Committees in charge of investigating the January 6 witch hunt.
Republicans will not only want to investigate the manner in which Pelosi put together the Committee – she also rejected two of House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s selections – but also her conduct in the run up to January 6 and her refusal to provide adequate security for the Capitol.
And that probe will certainly require the GOP majority to subpoena Nancy Pelosi.
