CNN’s Jim Acosta just revealed something disgusting about his coverage of Trump
As CNN’s Chief White House correspondent, Jim Acosta, constantly gets into fights with President Trump.
At one point, he even crossed the line so far that his press pass was temporarily pulled.
Now, he just revealed something disgusting about his coverage of Trump.
Jim Acosta doesn’t care about covering the news coming from the White House.
Instead, he cares about becoming the story by getting into petty fights over his disagreements with President Trump.
And in recent days, he has made it abundantly clear that is his goal.
First he came out insinuating Trump isn’t mentally well, calling him “crazy like a fox.”
Now, while speaking to Brian Stelter on CNN, he complained the media wasn’t negative enough against President Trump.
Towards the end of the “Reliable Sources” interview, Stelter wondered: “Do you have any regrets? Do you have any regrets? You said some White House aides do. Do you have any regrets?”
“Do I have any regrets? You know, I wish at times that the press had been a bit more in solidarity with one another. And standing up to this White House and saying listen, ‘You know, the President can’t call us the enemy of the people. We’re not going to go along with that,’” Acosta declared. “I think we’ve missed some opportunities here and there to challenge that.” Notice he’s not talking about reporting here, but rather confronting the President about nicknames.
Acosta then opined about how “grateful” he was for all the support he received from other media outlets during CNN’s lawsuit against the White House following his press pass getting pulled.
Acosta is saying this despite the fact that virtually all media coverage of President Trump is negative.
Trump is the most vilified President in history.
Despite the fact that unemployment rates are hitting record lows and the economy is booming, the media wants people to believe Trump is failing as a President.
But his approval rating is steadily climbing.
And CNN’s own polling shows that a majority of Americans believe Trump will be re-elected in 2020.
So their lies clearly aren’t resonating with the American people.
