A Democrat Governor just succeeded in shutting down two Trump rallies
If there’s one thing President Donald Trump has over Joe Biden, it is enthusiasm.
That is why Democrats are doing everything they can to shut down his campaign rallies.
And one Democrat Governor just succeeded, shutting down two Trump rallies.
After months of public gatherings being widely forbidden, President Trump has been forced to put an end to campaign rallies, which have been perhaps the best tool of his campaign.
Massive rallies in states like Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania in 2016 were likely instrumental in his wins in those states, which the Fake News Media claimed he had no chance in.
That’s why Trump resuming rallies in recent days is huge news.
These recent rallies have been held in the outdoor area of airports, with two recently taking place in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and Latrobe, Pennsylvania.
Trump recently announced that he would have two other rallies over the weekend.
One was to occur in Reno, Nevada, with the other in Las Vegas.
But with the rallies just days away, it was announced that due to the state’s Democrat Governor’s orders, they have both been canceled.
Nevada currently blocks any gathering of over 50 people, which was championed by Democrat Governor Steve Sisolak.
Nevada Independent reporter Megan Messerly reported this news, writing:
“The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority has sent a letter to the company that leases the hangar where Trump’s Reno rally will be held on Saturday advising them the rally violates the state’s 50-person limit on gatherings and that they may not proceed.”
Co-chair of the Nevada Trump campaign Adam Paul Laxalt blasted the news on Twitter, calling it “outrageous.”
“Outrageous! [Trump] rally venues in NV canceled,” he began. “Welcome to Sisolak’s Nevada – home of partisan political retribution. This is unprecedented – to cancel an incumbent President’s campaign stop inside 60 days of a major contested election in a swing state. This isn’t over!”
This isn’t the first time Nevada’s Governor has tried to shut down a Trump campaign event, but it is the first time he has succeeded.
Earlier this month, Trump held an “Evangelicals for Trump” rally in Las Vegas.
After the announcement, Sisolak contacted local authorities to try to get it shut down, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
According to their report, Scott Giles, who is the Democrat Governor’s senior advisor emailed Clark County Commission Chairwoman Marilyn Kirkpatrick to “flag” the event.
In the email he asks, “What would the next step be to ensure this event, which looks to likely violate current directives, is not allowed to proceed?”
It isn’t surprising Democrats want to shut down Trump rallies.
Joe Biden can’t even fill a high school gymnasium, while Trump can pack massive arenas with his supporters.
