NPR and PBS receive approximately $535 million in taxpayer money.
In return, these two state-funded media outlets run relentless propaganda campaigns attacking Republicans and supporting Democrat Party causes and candidates.
America is $36 trillion in debt.
The last thing taxpayers can afford to pick up the tab for are the Left’s fake news hype machines.
Taxpayer funding for NPR and PBS were prime targets for the DOGE subcommittee which held a hearing on stripping away the government money from these two left-wing outlets.
During the hearing, Congresswoman Crockett exploded, launching into a profane tirade attacking Americans who don’t think the government needs to prop leftist media outlets to wage nonstop information war against the Republican Party.
Crockett preposterously argued that DOGE seeking to cut spending to reduce size and power of government was corruption and that Democrats fighting for state-run media were on the side of working-class Americans.
“The DOGE agenda isn’t about government efficiency, it’s about breeding corruption at the expense of the safety of the American people, particularly Americans living in rural or remote parts of the country,” Crockett ranted.
Crockett raged that conservatives wanting to cut spending by ending taxpayer subsidies for media outlets were the ones against free speech.
“They don’t care about public safety. They don’t care about emergency management and they don’t care about free speech, all of which are harming American people,” Crockett added.
Crockett began cursing and falsely claiming that the First Amendment guaranteed a right to taxpayer-funded media outlets.
“To be clear, free speech is not about whatever it is that y’all want somebody to say, and the idea that you want to shut down everybody that is not Fox News is bulls**t. We need to stop playing, because that’s what you all are doing here, you don’t want to hear the opinions of anybody else,” Crockett concluded.

Crockett’s fireworks were intended to distract from the meat of the hearing.
That came when Republican Congressman Brandon Gill grilled NPR CEO Katherine Maher about her past support for reparations for slavery, Black Lives Matter looters, and racism against white people.
Gill even brought the receipts when Maher tried to play dumb.
