DNC Boss Ken Martin Just Forced His Own Officers Into a Move No Party Chairman Has Ever Pulled

Ken Martin's botched 2024 autopsy already had Democrats openly calling for his resignation.

Now his own senior officers had to agree to terms no DNC chairman has ever required.

Martin demanded a commitment from his own leadership before he'd discuss the party's money.

DNC Officers Had to Sign Confidentiality Deals Before Seeing the Finances

The Democratic National Committee asked its own leadership team to sign non-disclosure agreements before a private meeting on the party's finances.

Two sources close to the discussions leaked word of the meeting to Axios, and conservative outlets ran with it within hours.

This wasn't junior staff being told to keep quiet.

These were senior DNC officers, the people who are supposed to run the party.

The Gateway Pundit asked why Martin would make party leaders sign NDAs just to look at "the family check book."

DNC finance co-chair Chris Lowe tried to wave it off as routine.

He claimed confidentiality agreements are "standard practice in the corporate world," Western Journal reported.

Nobody buys that excuse.

Party officers are elected representatives of Democrat voters, not outside contractors reviewing a merger.

You don't need a lawyer and a signature to tell your own board how much money is in the account.

Unless the number is bad enough that you're scared of who might repeat it.

The Party Is $18 Million in Debt While the RNC Sits on $125 Million

Here's the number Martin apparently didn't want floating around without a signature attached to it first.

The DNC has close to $15 million on hand.

It also owes $18 million in debt.

The Republican National Committee has $125 million on hand.

The RNC owes nothing.

PJ Media noted that leadership teams don't get handed NDAs unless someone is worried about "what might leak."

Democrats spent roughly two billion dollars in a matter of weeks during the 2024 cycle and still lost.

USAID money that quietly padded left-wing infrastructure for years is gone too.

Donors who used to write checks without asking questions are now asking plenty of them.

This Is the Same Ken Martin Who Buried an Autopsy for Months

Martin has done this before.

He promised early in his chairmanship to release a full autopsy of the 2024 Harris-Walz disaster.

Then he reversed course and sat on it for months while donors and DNC members demanded answers.

When he finally released it, the report was riddled with errors and missing sections, and Martin himself admitted it fell short of his own standards.

Former DNC Vice Chair David Hogg called the entire rollout a demoralizing embarrassment for the party.

Multiple House Democrats called for Martin to resign over it.

A chairman who buries a failing report and then locks his own officers out of the books has a pattern, not a bad week.

The Supreme Court Just Erased the Rules That Might Have Saved Martin

The NDA meeting happened just days before the Supreme Court blew up decades of campaign finance limits.

The justices struck down the rule capping how much national party committees can spend coordinating directly with their own candidates.

Justice Brett Kavanaugh wrote for the majority that the old limits infringed on political parties' free speech rights.

On paper, that ruling helps the DNC exactly as much as it helps the RNC.

On the ground, it only helps whoever already has cash sitting in the bank.

The DNC has empty pockets and a locked file cabinet.

Trump called the ruling a big win for Republicans and the First Amendment on Truth Social.

Democrats fired back by attacking billionaire donors, which is rich coming from a party that just made its own officers sign away their voice before they'd talk about money.

That's what happens when the party that spent a decade lecturing America about transparency gets caught guarding its own checkbook like a state secret.

Ken Martin didn't just mismanage a report or misjudge a number.

He showed his own party, in writing, that he doesn't trust them either.
