Even Democrats know Karine Jean-Pierre is a political liability.

The question is how to handle the issue.

And Karine Jean-Pierre survived this dastardly plan to fire her in public.

Push inside the Biden administration to fire Jean-Pierre

A new CNN poll shows President Joe Biden losing to former President Donald Trump by six points.

CBS polls showed Trump leading Biden in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

Democrats know unless he shakes up his campaign, he’s on track to lose.

That’s why insiders tried to force Karine Jean-Pierre out as White House Press Secretary so he could present a new public face of his administration heading into the campaign.

The New York Post’s Steven Nelson reported there was a push inside the administration to ease Jean-Pierre out.

“There was an effort to have some outside folks who Karine knows and trusts talk to her about why leaving last fall would have made a lot of sense for her and her career,” a source told Nelson describing it as an “effort to encourage her to move along.”

Sources told Nelson she “had been in the job for a year and a half at that point, which is a pretty standard tenure for a press secretary in what is admittedly a very demanding job [and] Jeff and Anita [tried] to have folks that she would listen to and trust talk to her about why it might be wise to do that.”

Biden can’t fire Nelson because of DEI

Biden hired Jean-Pierre because she was the first black, female homosexual Press Secretary.

And now he can’t get rid of her for the same reasons.

“There’s a huge diversity issue, and they’re afraid of what folks are going to say,” Nelson reported a source telling him.

When Jean-Pierre took the job, she understood she would stay on through the election and she’s determined to see that goal through.

“She has been pretty consistent in telling people from the minute she got the job that she was going to stay through the election,” the source told Nelson. “I think Karine has decided to stay come hell or high water and that’s that.”

The White House tried to deny there was a plot to oust Jean-Pierre.

“Not only are these claims wildly false, but the reality is the polar opposite. Karine was never approached by anyone with such a message. She spends four hours preparing every day. And neither Jeff nor Anita did any such thing; both have been unflinchingly supportive of her,” White House press aide Andrew Bates told the New York Post.

But anyone can see that the administration keeps using National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby for any issue more complicated than “see spot run” to know even insiders think Jean-Pierre is a massive political liability.
