Jack Smith’s growing increasingly desperate about trying to force Donald Trump to stand trial before the election.

Joe Biden and his allies view him as the last line of defense against Donald Trump retaking the White House.

And now Donald Trump destroyed Jack Smith with one damning truth.

Donald Trump blasts Jack Smith over Smith’s threats to Judge Cannon

Former President Donald Trump tore into Special Counsel Jack Smith for threatening Judge Aileen Cannon over her refusing to allow him to co-opt her into working for President Joe Biden’s re-election campaign.

Cannon won’t allow Smith to railroad Trump with a rushed show trial before the election and she is taking her time to resolve the numerous pretrial motions in a complex matter like the Mar-a-Lago documents case.

Trump blasted Smith for his history of politically-motivated prosecutions – such as his case against former Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell (R) – that the Supreme Court unanimously overturned as well as his rude and threatening tone toward Judge Cannon.

“Deranged ‘Special’ Counsel Jack Smith, who has a long record of failure as a prosecutor, including a unanimous decision against him in the U.S. Supreme Court, should be sanctioned or censured for the way he is attacking a highly respected Judge, Aileen Cannon, who is presiding over his FAKE Documents Hoax case in Florida,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “He is a lowlife who is nasty, rude, and condescending, and obviously trying to “play the ref.” He shouldn’t even be allowed to participate in this sham case, where I, unlike Crooked Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, and all the rest, come under the Presidential Records Act. I DID NOTHING WRONG, BUT BIDEN DID, AND THEY LET HIM OFF SCOT-FREE. HOW DID THAT HAPPEN, JACK? A TWO TIERED SYSTEM OF JUSTICE. ELECTION INTERFERENCE!”

Smith attacks Judge Cannon

In a highly unusual filing, Smith responded to Judge Cannon’s request that both sides submit jury instructions on how jurors should consider Trump’s defense that the Presidential Records Act allowed him to keep documents at Mar-a-Lago after leaving office.

Smith wrote, “That legal premise is wrong, and a jury instruction for Section 793 that reflects that premise would distort the trial.”

He also demanded that Judge Cannon rule now on jury instructions so he can immediately appeal her ruling to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.

“Moreover, it is vitally important that the Court promptly decide whether the unstated legal premise underlying the recent order does, in the Court’s view, represent “a correct formulation of the law.” ECF No. 407 at 2. If the Court wrongly concludes that it does, and that it intends to include the PRA in the jury instructions regarding what is authorized under Section 793, it must inform the parties of that decision well in advance of trial. The Government must have the opportunity to consider appellate review well before jeopardy attaches,” Smith added.

This is an unusual filing as prosecutors don’t usually attack and threaten judges.

But Smith knows he’s under the gun to win a guilty verdict before the election.
