Trump reminds Americans that Democrats are the true party of extremism on abortion 

One of the defining moments of the 2016 campaign came in a debate when former President Donald Trump blasted former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for supporting abortion up until birth.

That exchange helped convince Americans that Trump was the right candidate to select who filled the late Justice Antonin Scalia’s Supreme Court seat.

Voters who rated the Supreme Court their number issue broke 57 to 41 for Trump which provided the decisive margin in a close election.

In 2024, he’s looking to put Democrats on their heels again.

Ever since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, Democrats think abortion is their ace in the hole.

But in a video laying out his position on the issue, Trump went on the attack telling Americans that Democrats were actually the radicals because they support unregulated abortion even after birth where they favor executing babies born alive who survive abortion procedures.

“It must be remembered that the Democrats are the radical ones in this position because they support abortion up to and even beyond the ninth month. The concept of having an abortion in the later months, and even execution after birth,” Trump stated.

“And that’s exactly what it is. The baby is born. The baby is executed after birth is unacceptable, and almost everyone agrees with that,” Trump added.

Democrats put their abortion extremism on display.

Last January, 210 Democrats voted against the Born Alive Act which would have mandated doctors administer life-saving care to babies who survive abortions.

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) defended Democrats leaving babies to die by falsely claiming women getting an abortion was the highest form of health care in America.

“Today, instead of joining Democrats to condemn all political violence, [House Republicans] chose to push their extreme anti-choice agenda,” Pelosi ranted on social media. 

“Democrats believe everyone deserves the freedom to access reproductive health services – without fear of violence, intimidation or harassment,” Pelosi continued.

“Democrats will always defend reproductive freedoms against extreme Republicans who disrespect a woman’s right to choose the size and timing of her family,” Pelosi concluded. “These are serious, personal decisions that must be made by women guided by faith, physician, and family — not by politicians.”

Health care is the process by which doctors save lives and make people well.

Abortion ends a life.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) wasted no time in agreeing with Pelosi.

“The MAGA Republican-controlled House is putting on display their extreme views on women’s health with legislation that does not even have the support of the American people,” Schumer declared.

The media will claim Trump is lying about Democrats wanting to execute babies.

But when given a chance to support legislation that would have ended the barbaric practice of terminating the lives of babies who survive an abortion, Democrats voted to let their lives expire.
