Donald Trump knows he has a mandate to secure the border and clear out millions of illegal aliens.

Trump’s first personnel announcement after winning the election was naming former Immigration and Customers Enforcement Director Tom Homan as his border czar.

Putting Homan in charge of all deportations showed the American people Trump understood the message of the election, and that he intended to honor the trust the voters placed in him.

Homan played a key role in Trump’s first term of delivering the most secure border in history.

And Homan communicated to the American people that in his role as border czar, the gloves were on and the days of illegal aliens overrunning the streets of American cities were over.

Homan laid out his agenda on Donald Trump Jr’.s podcast.

“What’s your overarching message to Americans who are eager for major border action on minute one? Like, on inauguration day, one second in, how much will you be able to improve the lives of everyday Americans?” Trump Jr. wondered.

Homan said the American people would see “shock and awe” at the border.

“I got three words for them: shock and awe,” Homan quipped “Shock and awe.”

Homan promises a sea change in deportation policy

Homan explained to Trump Jr. that securing the border went beyond just deporting illegal aliens.

It means cracking down on the child trafficking operations border czar Kamala Harris let run wild which resulted in hundreds of thousands of lost children.

“You’re going to see us take this country back and, look, like I said before, it isn’t just about the deportation operation. This about saving the children and about securing the border. What’s the results? Less overdose deaths, less sex trafficking, for God’s sake, one of the worst crimes around, less migrants dying,” Homan added.

Homan also had a message to violent illegal alien gangs like MS-13.

“Notice to you, my game’s bigger than your game and we’re going to take you out too,” Homan warned.

Homan wanted the public to know he was chomping at the bit to restore America’s border.

“I can’t wait to get started. I’m excited about coming back to serve this country again. Took a huge pay cut, but my wife said if you don’t go back, we’re going to get divorced because I’m sick and tired of you waking up everyday pissed off about you not being able to do anything,” Homan concluded.

The surest way to squander a mandate is to fail to deliver on key promises.

Joe Biden promised a return to normalcy but gave the American people transgender surgeries for children, open borders and rampant inflation.
