Trump Just Connected Biden’s Open Border to Something Every American Pays Every Month

Joe Biden let 13 million illegal immigrants pour across the border and stuck you with the bill.
Now the bill is finally coming down.
Here's what Trump just proved – and why the media doesn't want you to see the number.
Biden's Border Turned Into a $500-a-Year Tax on Every Driver
Car insurance premiums spiked 20 percent under Joe Biden.
Not 5 percent. Not 10 percent. Twenty percent – the biggest jump American drivers had seen in decades.
That translated into roughly $500 extra per year draining out of every law-abiding driver's pocket.
Under Biden and his DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, millions of illegal migrants flooded onto American roads with no driver training, no English language skills, and no insurance.
The Insurance Research Council confirmed what most Americans already suspected: by 2023, one in three drivers on American roads – 33.4 percent – was either uninsured or underinsured.
That's a 10-point jump since 2017.
Every time an uninsured illegal migrant rear-ends your car, smashes into your neighbor's vehicle, or walks away from the scene, law-abiding Americans absorb the cost through higher premiums.
Biden built that system. You paid for it.
The Number Biden's Open Border Left Behind
Trump posted the data on Truth Social this week and the numbers make the case without a single word of commentary.
Car insurance rate increases under Biden's third year in office: 20.6 percent.
Car insurance rate increases in 2025, Trump's first year of real enforcement: .5 percent.
Car insurance rates so far in 2026: down 2.3 percent.
That's not a trend. That's a verdict.
The data comes from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, analyzed by Trump's own Council of Economic Advisers.
The border closes. The premiums fall.
And peer-reviewed research explains exactly why.
A study published in the Journal of Policy Analysis and Management found that granting illegal migrants state-issued driver's licenses drives up fatal crashes by nearly 5 percent – roughly half an additional fatal crash per county per year.
The effect is even sharper in states with the largest illegal populations.
Researcher Ruinan Zhao found that once illegal migrants get behind the wheel legally, they drive more recklessly than the general population – and the accident data reflects it.
Every state that handed out licenses to illegal migrants was essentially letting Mayorkas set their car insurance rates.
The Mainstream Media's Explanation Doesn't Add Up
AP rushed out a "fact-check" piece claiming the real cause of the premium spike was the COVID-19 pandemic – not illegal immigration.
But that timeline falls apart under basic scrutiny.
COVID hit in 2020. Insurance rates didn't start their historic climb until 2021 – and kept climbing straight through the peak of Biden's border disaster.
More importantly, the connection between illegal immigration and uninsured drivers isn't a theory – it's confirmed by the same Journal of Insurance Issues the media cites in its own fact-checks.
That study found that areas with higher concentrations of illegal immigrants carry significantly higher rates of uninsured drivers.
The media buried the lede in its own source.
American drivers are watching their monthly bills drop for the first time in years.
You don't need a fact-checker to tell you what you're paying at renewal.
Trump closed the border.
Your car insurance bill is dropping.
Make the connection.
