Trump Has a Lindsey Graham Problem and the Federalist Just Named It

President Trump launched the Iran War to protect America.
Lindsey Graham is doing everything in his power to sabotage Trump because of it.
Now conservative media – from Megyn Kelly to The Federalist – is sounding the alarm about the one man doing the most damage to Trump's mission.
Graham Is Running His Own Foreign Policy
In 24 hours last week, Graham threatened Spain, warned Saudi Arabia it would face "consequences," pledged America would go to war for the Saudis "in perpetuity," and announced Cuba was "next."
He also told the world live on Fox News, "I will be with Israel until our dying day" – and suggested America should move all military assets to Israeli soil.
He then turned to the camera and told South Carolina parents he was asking them to send their sons and daughters to the Middle East.
The childless senator from South Carolina, it turns out, is very eager with other people's children.
The Federalist Dropped the Hammer
On Wednesday, The Federalist went straight at it.
The headline said what a lot of Trump supporters have been thinking: the best thing Trump can do for the Iran War effort is shutting up Lindsey Graham.
The piece laid out exactly how Graham's media blitz is sabotaging Trump's ability to deliver a clear message on the war.
The White House is already struggling to explain what victory looks like in Iran.
Every time Graham hits Hannity to offer security guarantees to foreign governments, pledge eternal allegiance to Israel, and threaten four more countries, he makes that job harder.
The Federalist's verdict was direct: Graham is not just unhelpful – he is actively undermining the commander-in-chief.
Megyn Kelly Said the Same Thing Louder
Kelly beat The Federalist to the punch by a day.
On her show Tuesday, she called Graham a "homicidal maniac with a bloodlust that is insatiable" and urged Trump to keep him at least 20 feet away from the Oval Office.
Her deeper point was the one that should worry every America First conservative.
Graham is not just talking.
He is listening to – and influencing – the President of the United States.
The Wall Street Journal reported that before Operation Epic Fury began, Graham made multiple trips to Israel to personally coach Benjamin Netanyahu on how to present intelligence to Trump to get him to authorize strikes.
Graham was not advising Trump.
He was running a parallel operation to get the war he has wanted for 20 years – and he used Trump as the instrument to get it.

The Pattern Every Conservative Needs to See
Iraq: 4,500 dead Americans, trillions spent, the region in chaos.
Afghanistan: 20 years, 2,400 dead Americans, the Taliban back in power the day we left.
Iran: thirteen days in, seven U.S. service members already dead.
Graham cheered for every one of them.
He called for military strikes on Iran as far back as 2010. He pushed to keep American troops in Afghanistan indefinitely. He was one of the loudest Iraq War advocates on Capitol Hill.
And he is on television every night demanding more.
Trump ran twice on ending the forever wars. The voters who put him back in the White House did not sign up for Graham's vision of America marching through the world "cleaning out the bad guys" one country at a time.
Trump is a strong president with good instincts.
But even the best commanders get steered wrong by the wrong advisors – and right now, the most dangerous voice in Trump's orbit belongs to a senator who has never met a war he didn't want someone else's kid to fight.
The Federalist said shut him up.
Megyn Kelly said keep him 20 feet back.
President Trump built something worth protecting. Lindsey Graham has spent two decades proving he will burn it all down to get the wars he wants.
