Sunny Hostin believes the big lie that racism and sexism cost Kamala Harris the 2024 election.
Of course, polls showed it was the inflation and border crisis that Kamala Harris created that turned the mood of voters against Kamala Harris.
On a recent episode of The View, Hostin again rejected the simple explanation of why Kamala Harris lost.
Hostin claimed voters were lying when they said kitchen table issues caused them to support Doanld Trump because Donald Trump never discussed “the price of eggs.”
“Most people are saying, ‘Well this was a kitchen table issue, this was about the cost of eggs.’ Donald Trump never talked about the price of eggs,” Hostin ranted.
That was just false.
In late September, Trump posted an infographic to his Truth Social account that specifically mentioned how much more expensive eggs were under Kamala Harris.
Trump and financial advice guru Dave Ramsey also discussed how Americans are “not concerned with a lot of things, but they are concerned with $8 eggs, $5 gas, 7% interest rates and a house they can’t afford, with wages not going up as fast as house prices. This inflation thing’s a big deal.”
Running mate J.D. Vance made the price of eggs a central argument to voters about how much worse Kamala Harris’ inflationary policies made their lives during a stop at a grocery store in Reading, Pennsylvania.
“Eggs, when Kamala Harris took office, were short of $1.50 a dozen. Now, a dozen eggs will cost you around $4 thanks to her inflationary policies,” Vance began.
“Looking at the prices here, things are way too expensive and they’re way too expensive because of Kamala Harris’ policies,” Vance added.
When Vance’s children interrupted the event Vance used his kids’ love of eggs for breakfast as jumping off point to discuss how Kamala Harris’ inflationary policies causing a rise in the cost of eggs affected families.
“Let’s talk about eggs,” Vance added. “Because these guys actually eat about 14 eggs every single morning.”
“Eggs, when Kamala Harris took office, were short of $1.50 a dozen. Now a dozen eggs will cost you around $4,” Vance continued. “Thanks to Kamala Harris’s inflationary policies, Pennsylvania actually has seen some of the worst grocery price increases of the entire nation, and again, it’s because she cast a deciding vote on the inflation explosion act.”
The media wants to act like racism and sexism cost Kamala Harris the election because that diversion allows them to avoid a tougher truth.
And that’s the fact that Trump’s decisive win means that Trump’s agenda was popular and represented the majority opinion in America despite eight years of Sunny Hostin and other media members shouting that Trump was a racist and a fascist.
