Megyn Kelly had a warning for Donald Trump that could save his Presidency
Megyn Kelly is one of Donald Trump’s biggest supporters in conservative media.
And Kelly knew Trump needed help at this critical juncture.
That’s why Megyn Kelly had a warning for Donald Trump that could save his Presidency.
Led by RINO Senators Joni Ernst of Iowa and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, the Swamp launched a coordinated smear campaign to destroy Pete Hegseth’s nomination to serve as Secretary of Defense.
Ernst and Graham are warmongers that worry that Hegseth will assist Donald Trump in helping to end the war in Ukraine.
Ernst also opposes Hegseth’s stated goal to purge woke ideology from the military, as Ernst is on record supporting Joe Biden’s order allowing transgenders to serve in the military.
“I’m looking at what’s good for our nation,” Ernst said of why she supported allowing transgenders to serve in the armed forces. “And believe me, when we’re facing a recruiting challenge right now, if people are physically willing and able to serve our country, we want them to do so.”
Hegseth’s nomination teetered on the brink because of anonymous allegations that he showed up to work at Fox News hungover.
Ernst also seized on a false sexual assault allegation made by a woman at Republican event that was investigated by both the police and district attorney, which they determined was baseless.
The fight to destroy Hegseth was about something far bigger than just Pete Hegseth.
Kelly explained that if the swamp succeeded in blowing up a second Trump nominee – Matt Gaetz already withdrew in the face of intractable opposition from Senate RINOs – that establishment would only feel emboldened to go after other nominees like Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
“If you don’t think they’re going to do this to RFK Jr., you haven’t been paying attention. I realize that Pete has his belly exposed. He has not led a perfect life, and there’s plenty if you want to start attacking his character in terms of his marital history and so on. But as he said to me yesterday, he found around 20, I think it was 18 or so, he found his two J’s: his wife, Jen and Jesus, and started changing his life in a profound way…” Kelly began.
Kennedy has admitted to previous affairs and drug use.
Kennedy also reportedly texted an apology to a babysitter who once claimed he sexually assaulted her.
Kelly said the Swamp will latch on to these allegations as an excuse to tear apart Kennedy because what D.C. really fears is Kennedy holding public health officials accountable for lying during COVID and bringing transparency to the production and testing of vaccines.
If Trump doesn’t stand firm on Hegseth, then Kennedy’s nomination stands no chance of success.
“Let’s say they get Pete’s scalp like they got Matt Gates’s scalp, Bobby Kennedy’s history makes Pete look like the consummate Boy Scout. He looks like he’s ready to enter the priesthood. He’s a lot older, with a lot more of a checkered past… It’s not going to be pretty at all. So we are really at a crossroads here about whether we are going to sacrifice these nominees because of checkered personal pasts or not. It’s not going to get easier after Pete,” Kelly concluded.
