Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes’ book, FIGHT: Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House, revealed that Joe Biden’s handlers planned the entire time Biden was running for re-election for him to drop out of the race due to his declining physical and mental health.
“One official involved in secret talks put a fine point on the fear that Biden would not make it to election day as the party’s nominee: ‘It shows what we had to do to prepare with the unique circumstances we had, which was an 80-plus-year-old president who was running,” a book excerpt reportedly read.
The book also revealed that as far back as 2023, Kamala Harris’ top aides maintained a “death pool” spreadsheet of judges that could administer Kamala the oath of office if Biden died while in office.
“Aides reportedly strategized around the possibility that Biden might die in office, including having Jamal Simmons, Kamala Harris’ White House communications director at the time, develop a ‘death-pool roster’ of federal judges who could administer the oath of office to the then-Vice President,” Red State reported of the book’s contents.
The death pool roster was a hand-me-down in the Kamala Harris office.
“Simmons developed a spreadsheet that he left behind with another Harris aide when he left her office in January of 2023,” Red State also reported about the book’s revelations.
At the same time Democrats maintained contingency plans in case of the worst, Biden’s handlers were out in public claiming Biden was fit as a fiddle.
“President Biden is a healthy, active, robust 81-year-old male, who remains fit to successfully execute the duties of the presidency,” Biden’s physician Kevin O’Connor claimed in early 2024.
Karine Jean-Pierre was telling reporters Biden was as good as ever.
“The president proves every day how he operates, how he thinks,” Jean-Pierre said to reporters.
Jean-Pierre leaned on her long relationship with Biden to gaslight the public about Biden’s health.
“I have known this president since 2009,” Jean-Pierre continued. “I — he is not just my — my boss, but, you know, he’s also some- — a mentor to me. And I sometimes spent countless hours with him, whether it’s in the Oval Office, whether it’s on the road.”
“And I believe, for me — you’re asking me my personal opinion — he is sharp,” Jean-Pierre added. “He is on top of things.”
Joe Biden ended up dropping out of the race after he showed himself to be mentally incompetent in the debate with Donald Trump.
This was only a surprise to Americans who consumed legacy media.
