Joe Biden is counting on Democrat prosecutors like Fani Willis to smooth his way to the White House by convicting Donald Trump in political show trials.

But now she is on the outs.

And Joe Biden just flipped on Fani Willis in one shocking reversal.

Justice Department admits inconsistencies in Fani Willis’ office’s use of taxpayer money

The Washington Free Beacon broke the bombshell story that a whistleblower came forward with damning information that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis fired her after she informed Willis that an aide allegedly misused part of a $488,000 federal grant earmarked for a Center for Youth Empowerment and Gang Prevention in Atlanta and instead diverted some of the funds for personal use.

In a follow-up report, the Free Beacon reports the Justice Department admits the numbers from Willis’ office about the money doesn’t add up.

“During our review of the award to respond to this inquiry, we have noticed some inconsistencies in what Fulton County has reported to [the Federal Subaward Reporting System] and we are working with them to update their reporting accordingly,” a statement from the Justice Department to the Free Beacon read.

“The Justice Department did not provide any further details on the nature of Willis’s reporting ‘inconsistencies’ on the $488,000 federal grant, which was earmarked for the creation of a Center for Youth Empowerment and Gang Prevention in Atlanta. The grant ended in September 2023, but the center never opened,” the Free Beacon report added.

Jim Jordan threatens to hold Willis in contempt

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) subpoenaed documents about this alleged misuse of federal funds.

Willis sought to stonewall Jordan’s probe into the whistleblower’s allegations.

“The Justice Department is coordinating with Willis’s office to fix the grant reporting ‘inconsistencies’ amid an ongoing House Judiciary Committee investigation into Willis’s use of federal grant funds. Committee chairman Rep. Jim Jordan (R., Ohio) subpoenaed Willis in early February for records related to the $488,000 federal grant and the whistleblower allegations made by former Willis staffer Amanda Timpson, who was listed as the grant director until the district attorney abruptly fired her in January 2022,” the Free Beacon also reported.

Even a threat by Jordan to hold a vote on referring Willis for prosecution on contempt of congress charges didn’t cause the Fulton County District Attorney to budge off her position of non-compliance.

“Jordan threatened to hold Willis in contempt of Congress on March 14 after the district attorney responded to his subpoena with a ‘narrow set of documents’ that had nothing to do with Timpson’s whistleblower allegations. Willis wrote in response that Jordan’s demands were ‘unreasonable and uncustomary’ and suggested his investigation was an effort to derail her election interference case against former president Donald Trump,” the Free Beacon report continued.

Willis barely survived a sex scandal to stay on the Trump case.

Now she’s facing a federal probe into alleged corruption in her office.

And if this case against former President Donald Trump ever goes to trial, Fani Willis’ conduct in office will be every bit under the microscope.
