The Kamala Harris campaign and their notetakers in the media tried to turn J.D. Vance into a punchline.

But now the tables are turned.

And J.D. Vance got the last laugh on Kamala Harris in one major war.

Firefighters don’t endorse Kamala Harris

The Vice President Kamala Harris campaign X account tried to mock former President Donald Trump for picking U.S. Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) as his running mate based on his appeal to working-class voters with a cherry-picked clip from Vance’s speech to the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) conference were a handful of attendees – likely Kamala voters – booed him.

This was at the height of the media smear campaign against Vance where the press and Democrats twisted every soundbite and public appearance to fit their phony narrative that Vance was a creep.

That was over the summer.

Now that it’s the stretch run of the campaign it’s Kamala and her handlers who ended up with egg all over their face.

First, Vance cleaned Kamala’s running mate Minnesota Governor Tim Walz’s clock in their Vice-Presidential debate.

And in the second body blow of a one-two punch, the IAFF declined to endorse a candidate this year.

“The IAFF Executive Board determined that we are better able to advocate for our members and make progress on the issues that matter to them if we, as a union, are standing shoulder-to-shoulder,” General President Edward Kelly’s statement. “This decision, which we took very seriously, is the best way to preserve and strengthen our unity.”

The only time since 1984 that the IAFF didn’t endorse the Democrat for President was 2016.

Coincidentally that was the year Trump pulled off his upset victory over Hillary Clinton.

The working class revolt against the Democrats continues

Big Labor funds the Democrat Party by turning forced union dues into campaign contributions.

But the Big Labor bosses know they have a problem on their hands.

The rank-and-file is for Trump.

Last month the Teamsters made waves by not endorsing any candidate following the release of internal survey data showing nearly 60 percent of members supported Trump.

The IAFF announced it wouldn’t endorse anyone in this campaign because the rank-and-file firefighters are for Trump.

“Over the past year, the IAFF took unprecedented steps to hear our members’ views on the candidates and the policy issues that matter most to them,” Kelly said.

There are warning signs all across the country that Kamala Harris will fall short of President Joe Biden’s numbers with working-class voters.

Unions for years have been a bedrock part of the Democrat coalition.

But polls show Kamala only leads Trump with union voters by nine points.

That would be the worst performance by a Democrat since 1984.

And that will put tremendous pressure on Kamala Harris to run up even bigger numbers with college-educated voters and single women.
