Gutfeld Just Gut Checked a Five Co-Host With One Truth to Begin Pride Month

AB Hernandez just swept three girls' track events in California – and nobody on television would say what needed saying.

Nobody, that is, until Greg Gutfeld opened Pride Month on The Five with two words that ended the debate.

Gillian Turner thought this problem had no solution – and Gutfeld told her exactly why she was wrong.

Biological Male Wins California Girls State Title for Second Straight Year

Gillian Turner opened the exchange on The Five by arguing the problem has no solution.

Her case: create a separate trans category and you stigmatize trans athletes.

Keep things the way they are and biological girls lose their spots on the podium.

Turner called it "truly intractable."

Gutfeld didn't buy it for a second.

"Oh, I don't get to participate with girls because I feel like I'm a girl – tough shit," Gutfeld said.

He didn't stop there.

"This is not promoting inclusion. This is an accommodation for a guy in a female category."

That's the whole argument.

Not a policy paper.

Not a 10-point framework.

Two words the entire conservative movement has been waiting to hear said out loud on national television.

AB Hernandez is a biological male who competed in the California state girls track and field championships and won.

Not once – twice.

OutKick reported Hernandez dominated all three jumping events at the 2026 CIF Southern Section Masters Meet – high jump, triple jump, and long jump – qualifying for the state championship in each.

President Trump called it out directly, threatening to pull federal funding from California over the participation.

California didn't blink.

Gavin Newsom's state let it happen again in 2026 – because the Democratic Party decided that a teenage girl losing her scholarship dreams is acceptable collateral damage for inclusion.

When Turner raised the mental health angle – that barring trans athletes could worsen depression and suicidal ideation – Gutfeld rejected the premise entirely.

"All of that data is made up," he said.

That's a refusal to let manufactured statistics override the biological reality that female athletes have trained their entire lives around.

Title IX Under Fire as Trans Athletes Keep Winning in Women's Sports

Democrats didn't pick June by accident.

The left kicks off Pride Month every year with a coordinated push to reframe the trans sports debate – away from biology and fairness, toward compassion and inclusion.

The goal is to make "tough shit" sound cruel instead of honest.

It isn't working.

The IOC just announced it will bar biological males from women's events at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

The NCAA updated its policy.

The U.S. Senate Commerce Committee this week accused USA Hockey of allowing biological males to compete against women in violation of Trump's executive order – and demanded answers.

Every institution that tried to wait this out is now reversing course.

The Democrats spent a decade telling you this debate was settled.

Gutfeld just reminded nearly 97,000 people – on the first day of Pride Month – that it never was.
