Fauci’s Diary Just Revealed How Former White House Staffers Secretly Betrayed Trump

It just became even more clear she never was a conservative at all.

Because Alyssa Farah Griffin is among the former Trump first term White House staffers who Dr. Anthony Fauci's newly-released diary reveals betrayed Trump.

Fauci's Diary Names The View Co-Host As His White House Ally

Sen. Rand Paul dropped over a thousand pages of Anthony Fauci's private diary on the country this weekend, and Alyssa Farah Griffin is all over it.

Farah took over as White House communications director in April 2020.

By July, Fauci was doing virtually any interview he wanted, and he knew exactly who to thank.

Fauci wrote that Farah wanted him on television "every day and every night."

He noted she had to navigate Trump's temperament while she kept the cameras rolling for him anyway.

Farah has since admitted, in her own words, that she worked around the people trying to rein Fauci in.

She told Congress she would slot Fauci and Dr. Deborah Birx onto regional television so it never landed on anyone's radar back at the White House.

"I had to kind of work around that," Farah said of the orders coming from Trump's own senior staff.

Farah now sits on The View, nodding along as her co-hosts trash the administration she once served.

The Doctor Farah Made Sure Got Silenced

Fauci had one loud critic inside the building, and Farah's diary cameo shows exactly how that ended.

Dr. Scott Atlas joined the White House as a special adviser and immediately started challenging Fauci in public.

Fauci once claimed goggles could theoretically block the virus, and Atlas mocked him for it, along with Fauci's dismissal of natural immunity.

Fauci's diary shows the irritation building for months, entry after entry, name after name.

By October, Farah had cut Atlas off from doing any more media appearances at all, according to Fauci's own account.

Weeks later, in November, Farah told Fauci she had pushed for Atlas's dismissal for months with no luck getting it done.

She trashed Atlas as a fool and said she wished she had more pull to get him out the door for good.

Atlas held on until his temporary appointment simply expired that November, and the one Trump adviser willing to challenge Fauci in public went quiet right on schedule.

Hope Hicks And The Easter Lockdown Fauci Bragged About

Farah was not the only Trump aide Fauci counted as a friend inside that West Wing.

Hope Hicks got the same treatment months earlier, back when the shutdown was brand new.

Fauci wrote that Hicks seemed to see him as a future ally after their first meeting in March 2020.

By early April, Trump was pleading with Hicks and Fauci in the Oval Office to end the shutdown, warning that sports leagues and entire industries were being wiped out by their own recommendations.

He wanted churches open for Palm Sunday and Good Friday, even floating drive-in Mass as a compromise.

Fauci said he did not budge, and Hicks stood with him against her own boss.

Fauci later bragged in his diary that the two of them "convinced him to essentially put Easter on hold for this year."

Trump's frustration resurfaced in the final days before the 2020 election, when he phoned Fauci from Air Force One and told him flat out that people everywhere, inside his own building included, could not stand him anymore.

He pushed Fauci to sound more positive and give Americans some hope, worried the messaging could cost Republicans the election.

Fauci brushed him off, kept booking every camera in Washington, and the shutdown dragged on into an election Trump lost days later.

Trump's Own Staff Made Sure He Took The Blame Alone

This is not a story about disagreement inside a White House during a scary moment.

This is a story about staffers who took a paycheck from Donald Trump and spent their days protecting the man undermining him.

Alyssa Farah Griffin built a business model on being the reasonable conservative in the room, first on cable panels and now on The View.

Fauci's own diary shows her real job in 2020 was running interference for him against her own president, right down to the doctor she helped ease out the door for challenging him.

Hope Hicks does not get a pass either.

She sat in the Oval Office while Trump all but pleaded to let Americans go to church for Easter, and she helped talk him out of it.

Both women stayed loyal to Fauci's shutdown while Trump absorbed the blame for a wrecked economy, a canceled holiday, and a pushed-out adviser who was actually right.

Trump was right in the final days of 2020 when he told Fauci the country could not stay locked down, and his own staff had already made sure it would anyway.

That is the real story buried in 1,141 pages of one doctor's ego.
