In the final three weeks of the election, Donald Trump got some bad news.

It threw his life into chaos.

And Donald Trump just got banned from doing one very important thing.

Donald Trump banned from playing golf because of threats on his life

Former President Donald Trump survived two attempts on his life.

The first came in Butler, Pennsylvania, where an assassin shot Trump in the head and came within a quarter inch of killing him.

Two months later, a sniper tried to murder Trump on his golf course.

President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris refused to provide him with adequate security.

Trump had to cancel outdoor rallies because the Biden-Harris administration won’t deploy enough Secret Service agents to protect his life.

Now Trump’s learning he can’t play gold because the Biden-Harris administration won’t guarantee his safety.

“Trump was told that federal agents could not ensure his safety to a degree that they were comfortable with if he were to play. The concerns were conveyed in two conversations with Trump since the September incident: one with Ronald Rowe, the acting director of the Secret Service, and the other with officials from the national intelligence director’s office,” NBC reported.

This is different than what Trump was told last month when he asked about playing golf and was told he would need more security.

“Trump had asked Rowe during a meeting last month whether it would be safe for him to continue golfing in the wake of the thwarted assassination attempt, and he was told he would need significant additional security given the proximity of some of his courses to public roads, the New York Times reported last month, citing information from three people familiar with their conversation,” NBC also reported.

Foreign assassination attempts

The intelligence community also now believes Iran is trying to assassinate Trump and his top aides in revenge for the former President taking out Iranian terrorist leader Qassem Soleimani.

“But Iran’s efforts to kill Trump and former senior officials it has blamed for the Soleimani strike are even more extensive and aggressive than previously reported, according to a dozen officials familiar with the Iranian assassination threat,” POLITICO reported.

There may also be something more sinister going on as well.

Donald Trump is known as an avid – and very good – golfer.

Candidates do need some downtime to decompress.

By banning Trump from playing golf the Biden-Harris administration is taking away a distraction he uses to refocus his mind.

Trump losing his favorite leisure activity is a major hindrance in the final weeks of the campaign.

It may not matter all that much.

But the polls and election forecasting models all show a coin-flip race.

No matter which way you slice it, taking away golf could hurt Donald Trump in the stretch run of the campaign.
