President Trump continues to show that his second term is nothing like his first four years in office.

Trump’s actions are shaking up the status quo.

And Donald Trump caused one emergency meeting with this daring move.

Globalists panic as Trump makes progress on ending war in Ukraine

One of Donald Trump’s signature campaign promises was ending the war in Ukraine.

Joe Biden blundered America into another foreign war, but this time one that risked nuclear annihilation.

Trump promised to hammer out a peace deal to end the war.

This goal coincided with another Trump agenda item.

Ever since his first term in office, Trump’s been frustrated with European nations freeloading off America in the NATO alliance by not meeting their quota of spending at least two percent of gross domestic product on national defense.

Trump argued that with the war in Ukraine, NATO “allies” should spend five percent of GDP and assume more responsibility for their own security.

European countries realized they needed to take Trump both seriously and literally about picking up the financial slack when Trump announced he held a productive phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin and that he predicted the two would have a face-to-face meeting in Saudi Arabia as part of the peace process.

“We ultimately expect to meet. In fact, we expect that he’ll come here, and I’ll go there, and we’re gonna meet also probably in Saudi Arabia the first time, we’ll meet in Saudi Arabia, see if we can get something done,” Trump stated.

French President Emmanuel Macron hit the panic button and called for an emergency meeting in his country for NATO allies.

“Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noël Barrot confirms that a meeting of the “main European countries” will be held in Paris on Monday on European security,” French Inter reported.

NATO countries took differing responses to Trump’s plan to end the war in Ukraine.

Germany, the biggest deadbeat in NATO as it could easily afford to spend more on defense and not depend on the American security umbrella – continued to pound the table making unrealistic demands that would only serve to extend the war.

“There will only be peace if Ukraine’s sovereignty is secured,” German Chancellor Olaf Scholz ranted during the Munich Security Conference. “A dictated peace will therefore never find our support.”

Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski took a different path saying Europe needed to adapt to Trump’s demands.

“President Trump has a method of operating which the Russians call razvedka boyem – reconnaissance through battle. You push and you see what happens, and then you change your position…And we need to respond,” Sikorski stated.

So did United Kingdom Keir Starmer who also said NATO needed to step up and pick up the slack.

“It’s clear Europe must take on a greater role in NATO as we work with the United States to secure Ukraine’s future and face down the threat we face from Russia,” Starmer declared.

Donald Trump wants to end the war in Ukraine and see Europe assume greater responsibility for their own security.

French President Macron calling for an emergency meeting in his country of fellow NATO allies is a sign that Europe is finally getting the message that Trump is serious.
